Here's a cartograph of my nether base I've been building for a year:
Netherrack and lava hidden in the image so you can actually see the base (made of insane amounts of cobblestone, I ship all my cobblestone from my branchmines to the nether for building).
It spans from bottom bedrock to top bedrock (and is fused into each heh), and 1km in multiple directions, with rails to get to the farthest reaches quickly.
Thanks to the Silk Touch shovel I made I even have grass and water in the nether now.

The best thing I've built in my opinion would be in my current world that I've had since 1.5b. Screenshots in spoiler if you wanna see them. It includes a outpost on a cliff and a 64x64 fort.
64x64 fort ( Just finished )

I've built huge, huge castles, but the thing I'm as yet most proud of is the first cake I made in 1.8 pre (delayed, 'cos I've played since mid-alpha). That's why I was so devastated when it was stolen by an enderman.

I'm completely redoing all the paintings in my texture pack and its mostly done...however I need to do something with the 1x1 paintings. unlike most texture packs, i like my 1x1 paintings to be decorative but not art. Such as one of my paintings looks like a wood backing, so its perfect for making chairs. Others are bookshelves, one looks like glowstone, etc.
In short I was wondering if anyone had a few creative idea's for my paintings.
I was thinking, perhaps one that looks like cabinets, a clock face, perhaps a bullseye(for target pratice), maybe a mirror...but that's all I've got, anyone got any ideas?
