There really should be a poll that includes all the biomes even the technical ones such as rivers and beaches.
Anyways, I don't really hate any of the biomes but I'd say the most troublesome biome for me would be the jungle biome, it's very dangerous at night and very hilly but it's very fun to burn down.
If I update to 1.5.2, will I have to wait for a new version of OptiFine or Magic Launcher? Will my textures be supported? Will I still be able to access all servers?
This is the first time I've had a MC account when they've put out an update... So I'm completely clueless on this stuff.
The update seems to be mostly about bug fixes.
The update didn't add any new textures so your texture packs should be fine. As for Optifine maybe/maybe not. server wise I don't think you'll be able to join yet because there are a new mob mechanics, such as endermen being hostile once environmentally damaged.
But what you can do is rename your current Minecraft.jar file to something like Minecraft 1.5.1.jar then update your Minecraft to 1.5.2 and mess around to see whether or not your old stuff is compatible with the update. If it isn't, simply delete the 1.5.2 minrcraft.jar and rename the back up jar back to Minecraft.jar
From what I can remember, Minecraft uses openGL as it's 3D renderer. Try playing Amnesia it uses openGL too, if you can't play that. Then that's the problem.
I don't agree with you on too much stuff, it should be more really.
Also updating to quickly? The official updates can come out months after the previous update, I think you are referring to the snapshots which get updated every week.
I'd say this is pretty alright, also the door should have a one pixel depression at the wall it's in, so to make it possible to detect.
Crafting recipe should be a 2x3 arrangement of bookshelves and yield 6 doors due to the fact it takes 6 planks to make a normal door and one bookshelf block.
They are not practical enough for the current libraries in NPC villages at the moment but would be great for an adventure map or adding depth on a bookshelf wall.
It would be two blocks high and two thick. It would look like a white, short, fat neather man. It would eat blocks, swallowing them without a trace. It would only be in the nether. It would appear out of nowhere, grab you, and teleport somewhere else. It could teleport with you several times before putting you down an entirely different place in the nether. It would hurt you whenever you teleport. When you kill it, If you ever could, it would drop all the blocks it ate, and a nether star.
You mad bro?
But in all seriousness, no support from me it's too OP and laggy with all the rendering of new chunks and no offence but, it sounded like you just came up with the idea in two minutes. Also drop ALL the blocks it ate...really!?
There are just too many possibilities but here is what I think:
Assuming that the human race is still "thriving", what I'm more interested in is how past events will be taught and remembered, events like the world wars.
I can guarantee you that a stupid thing that happens in this era that we don't pay much attention today, will be praised as some sort of religious cult thing in the future.
We've probably have made a man landing on Mars and other stuff, Voyager One will be dead and forever alone.
Something like this happened when I was watching one of Pewdeipie's videos, when the page was loading there were 145K likes and no dislikes. When the page was fully loaded I saw there were 143.5K and 1.5K dislikes.
