I wrote a lot but did a mistake of edit.So I re-uploaded the pictures.Next time I really will choose the Nvidia.

I had the same issue a while back in 1.7.10 with optifine and shaders with an AMD Radeon 7950 before I upgraded to the current Nvidia GT 960 I own.

Possible fix that never worked for me.

Alternatively, Linux has open source AMD drivers which work great with Minecraft, ensure that if you do try a different OS such as Linux, use Oracle Java if you enjoy running mods. Most mods come in the format of .jar, and forge can be loaded in Linux as well. Complete compatibility with the game, and the game runs better than on Windows, at least for me. That's what I ended up doing to fix it.

posted a message on Console UI mod for PC version?

From what I know there are question marks that appear on the items in the NEI editor, and if you click on it it'll auto arrange it in the crafting edit. I'm not sure if you need to do it while in a crafting table, or if it requires another mod. Also, you can view recipes by hovering over the item & pressing R.

Time for a UI update for newbies and lazy people like me

I looked into NEI, and all this does is show blocks and give me free blocks, it doesn't craft them. In the console UI, I click the crafting table and I get a nice little cross where I can pick and choose what I want to craft, if I have the items it lets me, if not it is greyed out. I want this on the PC version very very badly.

So, now you can have the same intro that like, hundreds of other typical YouTubers have? Yay!

Not if you make your own graphics with Gimp or something. Did you watch the video and follow the tips, or just give a knee jerk reaction?

As much as I miss a lot of 1.7 mods, I have upgraded to 1.8, and am looking forward to 1.9. I like the world customizer of 1.8.

When I die while carrying raw diamonds. Or when I die without a bed ready. I have deleted entire worlds because of this.

Open to Lan, click enable cheats, use the command /gamerule keepInventory true (case sensitive). Save and quit the world to disable cheats, reload the world and you can keep your items forever in that map. I do this for every new map I create, and I wish there were an option to just enable it in options. This should not count as a cheat.

OpenGL: ~~ERROR~~ RuntimeException: No OpenGL context found in the current thread.
    Operating System: Windows 10 (amd64) version 10.0

It's a Windows 10 bug where Open GL is blocked or stops working. Try Linux or go back to whatever Windows you were using before. Windows 10 is terrible and should not be used by anyone. Windows 10 has absolutely no OpenGL support as they are actively pushing DirectX. Drivers have been updated to not include OpenGL support as well for Intel, AMD, and Nvidia. Try using an older version of the driver for your video card. Windows 7 drivers should work with Windows 10 if you are dead set on keeping the horrible OS.

    Quote from 7101334»

Legality often doesn't align with morality but, rather, with the economic interests of wealthy individuals and corporations. I paid for 2 copies of Minecraft PS3 (one to play on, and then one when I got really into it to host the 24/7 server). If you can find a way not to pay, I don't see why you should.

No one is taking your home over pirated Minecraft, the absolute (yet realistic) worst case scenario is that your ISP turns off your internet until you agree to delete the file and any torrent programs (if you used a torrent to obtain it). Still, do you know why ISPs will often turn your internet off if you torrent movies, but not generally over music, programs, or even games? Because in most of America, ISPs are also media companies (like Time Warner Cable), and it hurts their profits if you torrent movies instead of paying for movie channels / pay-per-view.

I was not arguing the morality of it, but the laws are getting stricter. Just because it has not happened does not mean it won't happen. You should pay because that is how our economy works. If everyone went around stealing everything they wanted, then we would not have stuff worth having. Alternatively there are free games, free software, and free music available. The quality of this stuff is getting really decent too. If you want a premium service, then you gotta pay the premiums. It is not a difficult idea to grasp. That is the argument of every thief now isn't it?

posted a message on The elephant in the room: Piracy, and educating the user who might not know the risks.

    Reasons to pirate:

poor/broke and it's easy to get things free

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Reasons not to pirate:

Windows 10 now has in place anti-piracy measures which scans your hard drive for pirated content, disables it, and reports your IP to your ISP.

These telemetry updates have been backported to Windows 7 and Windows 8.

You can go to jail for theft and the laws are becoming more strict.

As of today, September 29th, 2015, the fines for being caught first offense for every copyrighted work is now up to $250,000 USD, that is two hundred fifty thousand dollars US for every copyrighted work if caught. That is per MP3 file, every game, including Minecraft.

If you cannot pay these fines in a timely manner, or this be a second offense, you can be jailed for up to a year on class e felony charges per copyrighted work.

A "first offense" counts as having received a DMA notice from your ISP, and they can now slap you with criminal and civil charges if you continue to download illegal content.

Age doesn't matter, you can be as young as 5 or 6 years old and they would charge your caregiver(s). For example your parents can be charged with civil and criminal charges if you download illegally.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sources just in case you don't believe me:

    Piracy Law

Even when turned off Windows 10 talks to Microsoft

    Microsoft's new privacy statement

So let me ask you this, is it worth going to jail over? Is it worth losing your home, losing your parent's their home? Is it worth the hassle instead of paying $27 for Minecraft?

posted a message on Console UI mod for PC version?

I would like to know if there is a console UI mod for the PC, you know where you scroll through things and craft what you need without placing the blocks manually. I really really prefer this interface and find myself hooking a keyboard and mouse to my PS4 and playing that instead. IMHO it is a far better UI in every single way.

I dislike having to use a guide, or look at some webpage every time I want to craft something I can't remember the placement of. Usually PC versions of games are better, but I much prefer the PS4 version, even with all it's drawbacks, simply because it has a far superior UI.
