    Hello, I made redstone activate when a trapped chest is opened without any visible redstone connected to the chest that will make it suspicious, but it makes a piston sound when the chest is opened.

    When the redstone comparator is right clicked it becomes a diminisher. The output strength is equal to the strength of input A (back of the comparator) minus the strength of input B (side). In the video, input A is the torch which has a signal strength of 15 and input B which also has 15 strength, so A - B = 15 - 15 = 0 output and thus turns off the repeaters that power input B. Since B is 0 then output will become 15 again and the result is a clock!

    Had the exact same problem as all of you guys, here's the solution. It was the same when 1.3 came out btw:

    1) Go to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc

    2) Copy the file "hosts" to where ever you like, it's just temporary

    3) Open the file with notepad and remove any line with Minecraft in it

    4) Save and close the file and put it back in the etc folder and overwrite the old one

    5) Have fun playing Minecraft again

    The command block from 1.4 is a very useful block for map makers. The past updates made the command block better, but still not good enough for me. If i wanted to run multiple commands I'd have to make multiple command blocks. Also, If I wanted to run a random command, I'd have to make multiple command blocks with different commands and hook them up to a randomizer which takes so much space and are very slow. What if we could all say good bye to all those redstone and let a single command block do all the work?

    My suggestion:
    The command block's GUI should not have only one command line but instead, an infinitely expandable text box like notepad. You can also be able to run all of them simultaneously in sequence or in random order, play only one of the commands, group some commands and run them as a group, run a group of commands in random or in sequence, and run a single group of commands. You can also add intervals between commands.

    Hi, let me present to you my first map in the forum! This map is called "Dispenser Defense". Its basically a tower defense using dispensers against zombies. At the beginning, you are given 32 arrows and 32 fire charges. Distribute them wisely on multiple dispersers to survive the wave. There are 15 waves, each wave adds two more zombies than the previous wave (2 x CurrentLevel = #of zombies). If they reach their destination, which is the bedroom where the villager is sleeping, you lose and you have to reinstall the map(sorry, I haven't thought of a resetting mechanism). Have fun!

    1.1 Update:
    +Added a cat standing near the tunnel for more protection against creepers.
    +Entering the house is now possible.
    +Added a "win" message when all 15 waves are cleared.
    +More automatic dispensers.

    Features:
    *15 waves with increasing difficulty
    *Ammo and other useful things rewarded after every wave
    *67 empty dispensers that you fill up with ammo
    *Zombies follow a path without the help of water
    *A very cruel penalty when you lose
    *Infinite player health (sorta... the player has a total of 16383.5 hearts)
    *Iron Golem. Iron Blocks appear in carts but the pumpkin must be found

    Instructions/How to play:
    When you first play the map, you are on The Viewing Deck, this is where you view the action below. Now check the cart behind you to get your first ammo, destroy the cart to make way for other carts. Once you got the ammo, go inside the tunnel and jump down. After that, you should find yourself at the place I call The Play Field, this is where zombies follow a path filled with dispensers. Distribute the ammo you took from the cart into the dispensers. after you finish doing that, head back into the tunnel and use the elevator to go up. Now, run towards the other end of The Viewing Deck, there you will find a button, press it to start the wave and watch the zombies get killed by your dispensers. After the wave ends (torch off), take the contents of the cart and do the same process over again until you win or lose. Kill any mob that spawn outside the path. Even though all zombies are dead, the wave might still be running. One wave lasts at least a minute and wont go over two minutes.

    Rule: Never break and place blocks until you finish all 15 waves. You may only place Iron Blocks and Pumpkins to create an Iron Golem. You may only use the Iron Blocks and Pumpkins to create an Iron Golem. Doors taken from the carts can also be placed anywhere you want.
    You may not break the Pumpkin from the small farm in The Play Field, find a way how to get it without touching it.

    Seed: dragons!

    Hey guys, I have an awesome seed that I discovered since Pre6. Take a look

    A dungeon next to a small village near the spawn.


    Removed the sand and turns out to be a skeleton.


    A Stronghold with the portal room(below the cursor) exposed!



    Two Cave Spider spawner exposed by ravine


    A floating stone with cactus on top


    well thats just some of the best things I have seen in this seed.
