I find this to be unforgivable.

The only server I really joined was hunger games and I was banned for climbing a water latter in that pvp server.
plus most gamer chicks make a huge deal out of it to get a special treatment from the guy gamers who,for some reason, worship gamer chicks.(like batting their eyelashes)
From my experience most "gamer chicks" do not even give a crap.
If anything I would not be surprised if those people were just guys.
(Besides, if you need special treatment then you have no right to call yourself a gamer.)
How about that those hands would be the only way for them to pull people down.
Also maybe I do not appreciate the reference to old mermaids when those mermaids are not what is in this thread.

You can tell when the spider is in enough light to become passive by their texture. But if they were attacking you before they become passive like if they saw you then entered a light area they remain passive.
and since the spider will see you before you hit them with the potion this has little use.
My idea would be if you hit them with the potion and they are in light they become blind do to already having sensitive vision.
But we only see either zombie invasions which the zombies despawn fight things that are not you. These on the other hand would be constantly spawning so are you saying the game would just memorize where they are and if someone is at the edge only they fight well their unloaded friends do not fight or everyone just teleported back to their village each time you get the chunk loaded?
Mermaids lured male sailors into accident with their songs and were half fish. (Whether they were beautiful is another story.) This right here is not a mermaid. It is pretty much a load of things that live in the sea. Except this thing would have nothing to pull you down with.
In order to fight they would have to be constantly loaded along with what the above person said. This would just be a complicated feature all for a rare and that is also pointless since with how small they are they would have fought and killed each other long ago.

Also to people using melons, I would never do that.
I would prefer a food I would not constantly need to eat do to restoring low hunger points and having very little saturation.
