    Will there ever be any documentation on how to get started using m3l. I still wanna try to muck about with these things, (despite having no clue) I just don't even have a sliver of an idea of where to begin.

    I support the idea that there should be some kinds of ore deposits. In the real world, some places are filled with iron, whereas some others are not. The only two things preventing us from doing that in Minecraft for now, are: first, we would need a lot of space to do that (particularly vertical space), and second, there would be a gameplay issue. If one is not at the good spot, then one cannot find iron and all the stuff one would need to continue the game.
    My solution would be to keep the random "little ore deposit" generation, and to get bigger ore deposits to spawn in some areas.



    It would work with terrafirmacraft :)

    Last I checked making ship battles possible in this way was an end thing, and even then I believe Cuchaz said it was unlikely.

    If you're using minecraft 1.8.x the only minimap available is Voxelmap through liteloader. If you're using 1.7.x, and can't find a Rei's for your version use Journeymap, it's better anyway :)

    To your first question. Yes, there is a playable version, however it doesn't generate with any resources other than dirt, stone, and water at the current moment. Beta version 0.2 http://www.cuchazinteractive.com/tall-worlds/

    To your second question, No, chances are no current world gen mods will work with tall worlds. Any future world gen mods that work with tall worlds will probably have to be specifically designed to do so.

    I enjoy your enthusiasm, and interest in flying ships and lazers and stuff, however that probably won't be modded into minecraft. I would recommend starmade to you though, it's a great game, similar to minecraft, but with spaceships. It's currently free.
