Actually this update fixes the glitches I had with leaves. (And yes, I'm using 320.49 on Windows and 304.88 on Linux, both exhibited the problem before.)
I guess this is similar to the previous post! We're seeing rendering issues with leaves with Graphics: Fancy, probably related to having lots of trees around the area. The buggy rendering is static, i.e. it's not affected by reloading the chunks, or changing viewing angle, or restarting the game, nor does it matter which shaderpack is selected or if none is selected at all. The problem only goes away by using Graphics: Fast or by switching back to unpatched Minecraft 1.6.2.
A little niggle: the coordinate display doesn't account for negative numbers correctly, and thus we end up with -0 and +0 being different numbers. Basically, -0.4 (for example) should be rounded to -1, not -0, and -14.2 should be rounded to 15, etc.
All the "dying and not dying" problems are probably because the difficulty setting is (and always has been) client side. Thus, if it's not on normal, the server has a different opinion on what's hit you and your health, than your client.
You can't see the monsters when in peaceful mode, because peaceful doesn't have monsters.
Best bet at the moment is to leave difficulty on normal. I would presume at some point that difficulty will become a single server-side option, not client side. It doesn't make sense for some people to have monsters and others not to.
Just trying this out now. For x86_64, I had to fix your make.sh as it included both -shared and -static which doesn't make sense, and include -fPIC.
However I can't play; running via the launcher says 'java.lang.ClassFormatError: Illegal method name "" in class iq', and running bin/minecraft.jar directly doesn't login. So... what do to? :biggrin.gif:
