Who we are:
JadedMC is a (very) small minigame server based in the Eastern U.S featuring a variety of unique minigames listed below. All of our modes and custom programed by me, along with most of the backend (chat, utilities, etc). We also have a small dedicated staff team who has assisted with game design, play testing, and building. As a full-time college student who still works part time to continue to fund the server, it is becoming harder for our small team to continue to maintain and improve the server.
Our Current Game Modes:
ElytraPvP: ElytraPvP is the classic KitPvP game mode with a unique twist, everyone has an elytra! Select one of 8 unique kits and drop down into the arena. Watch where you land though, the ground will kill you! There are only a few safe landing zones scattered throughout the map.
Here's an example of the gameplay:
Cactus Rush: Cactus Rush is a unique minigame based off the relatively obscure game called Cactus Duels. Cactus Rush consists of 2 teams on opposite ends of a maze of sand blocks. Each player is given an egg and a stack of eggs, which are used to kill opponents by forcing them to run into cacti. The object is to reach the other team's goal (marked with colored terracotta) to score. The first team with 3 points wins.
And here is a demo video (done in a single player world, not on the server) showing some of the mechanics:
Turf Wars: The classic game by Mineplex, being brought back to life! Each team has time to build a fort, before fighting to the death with bows. Each kill gains territory for your team, and each death loses territory. The team who captures all of the territory wins.

What We are Looking For:
Developers: This is the primary role we are looking for. As much fun as I've had developing the server over the years, I'm just not able to keep up on my own. My primary goal is to redesign the backend so that it is easier to build off of and maintain in the future, while also still trying to keep things fresh for the existing player base. Ideally you would already be experienced with Spigot/Paper plugin development, as long as working with MySQL, but they aren't a requirement. We have been looking towards creating a website with player statistics and leaderboards too, so if you don't have Java experience but do have web development experience that should also work.
Builders: We are in need of a few builders to join our team to help revamp the server. We are looking for people who are able to help us create new maps for our existing game modes, create maps for our upcoming modes, and to help us overhaul our existing builds. While preferred, we do not require WorldEdit experience.
Other Roles: With our small player base, we really aren't looking for other roles. However, if you are interested in helping us grow and don't fit in the above 2 categories, by all means reach out and I will see what I can do. I will never turn down a passionate individual looking to help, unless given a reason to.

Helper is the first level of staff roles at ElytraPvP. Helpers are responsible for interacting with the community, answering questions, and guiding new players. Any issues that a helper cannot deal with on their own should be forwarded to higher levels of staff.
As this is an entry role, our requirements are rather lax. The only requirement is a minimum age of 15, though this isn't set in stone. We can make exceptions if you prove through your application that you are mature.
I have never seen this before, so I can only speculate based off my past experiences with Java and running servers.
Do world changes save after the crash? It seems like the server isn't able to read/write data. It's possible this could be due to how Azure works, though I have never worked with it or heard of anyone running a server on it.

Is it possible to add custom model data to tools? I have been able to apply it to other items, but when I use tools such as a diamond pickaxe, I can't get the texture to load.

Hello, over the past month or so, I have been working on a small server. It is not completely done at the moment, but we are looking for players to help us bug test and suggest features before we open. Beta testers have a better chance at having their staff applications accepted if they apply.
Over the past month, we have been developing a new skyblock server with the perfect balance between old skyblock features and modern skyblock features that is sure to keep you entertained for hours.
