Assassin's Creep is a pretty good one. There's lots of good parkour maps like what you're looking for, go check out the part of the forums dedicated to adventure maps. This should have been posted there anyways.
No one can get on to a server (re-login) since Minecraft and/or Mojang is having trouble with the sessions, the website, and the login. And it isn't the server that are down, it's just some of the Minecraft services.
Those ARE servers. Not the kind of server that comes to mind when someone says the words "Minecraft server," but still servers. I'd go into detail about login servers and website servers and the like, but I don't think I know enough about them to do so.
It's because of the new 1.6.4, it has lots of bugs. I hope it'll be fixed soon .
I'm not sure that's quite it. Bugs in an update are clientside, while this is server-side (on Mojang/Amazon EC3's part, not on the individual servers themselves' parts) though I could be wrong.
It's probably maintenance or something. Edit: Rereading what I said, I think I may have been a bit unclear. The bugs in the new update do not affect the servers, although maybe there could be a bug in one of the snapshots/1.6.4 that damaged the servers when it was sent to everyone's launcher.
It could be that Amazon (the company that Mojang uses to host its servers) is having problems, or Mojang's doing maintenance. Sometimes the servers go down. Learn to live with it.

Josh builds a shelter while he climbs the mountion, Josh goes to bed having the nightmare again about him in the void with the one block large portal, "AHHHHHHHH!!!!, oh, i had the dream again, Josh wakes up in the morning finding that he was near the mirror at the top of the mountion. Josh reaches the top of the mountion and finds "Herobrines Cursed Mirror", the mirror that traped Herobrine untill The Ender War ended, "Wow" said Josh, Josh touches the mirror bringing him to the nether with Herobrine there standing right infront of you about 8 blocks away, Josh gets ready to fight but ends up getting ganged up by a pack of Zombie Pigmen, " ATTACK MINIONS!!!" ordered Herobrine, Josh gets taken away to a cage, you escape through a hole in the bars, " That was easy " said Josh, Josh puts on his armor and equips his Legendary Sword that killed Herobrine twice and it will kill him again, All of a sudden, 5 Withers spawn right infront of Josh but he puts up a fight and kills the 5 beasts, he sneaks up on Herobrine and kills him sending him into the void, Josh lands on a block with 7 other blocks falling and sees a giant Herobrine, Josh gets his bow and quiver full of arrows and aims for Herobrines eye while Herobrine tries to crush him with his hands, Josh takes out both eyes and he runs up Herobrines arm and slices Herobrines neck right open sending Herobrines head flying into the end of the void, Josh gets teleported back to the island while the others are still celebrating, the laser brakes down, releasing the most deadly mob in existence, " The Ender Lord! ", now to continue this epic story of " The Hero of Minecraft " Chapter One: The Uprising, "DANG IT!!" yelled Josh while he walked down the mountion to the village, Josh walked home and put his gear away and laid in his bed and told himself " I will end this war and kill the ender lord " while Josh fell asleep to rest, Josh woke up in the morning and make breakfist, but all of a sudden a large explosion blew up the city hall, the village was being bombed by a terrorist, about half of the whole city was killed and burned, " Dang it, this must of been a plan from the ender lord " said Josh with anger filled up in him, all of a sudden Josh's house blew up about killing him but making him fly right out the window right onto the ground, Josh escaped the village but not the city, soon he escaped the whole city with wounds on his left and right arms and legs with three of his toes broken, soon the whole city was gone with no survivors but Josh and his bravery, " I will avenge this city " Josh said to himself, he walked off in the distence walking away from the city. Chapter 2: The Wither, While Josh walked away from the city he built a shelter but a Wither found him and attacked him, Josh had his sword but he lost it because the Wither shot it away onto the hill in the distence, Josh was fighting the Wither bare fisted without stoping until he climbed up the Wither and tore off his heads but the big one but he took down the Wither with a rope, he tied the rope the withers head and pulled the rope so hard the the withers head came right off and the wither died, " How did it find me? " Josh asked himself walking to get his sword, he walked off in the distence again to find civilization, later that evening, he found a small village that treeted his wounds and they healed his wounds later on, " So, what happened? " asked the docter, " The Ender War is rebegining and im envolved as the target, but i am gonna save this land and kill the ender lord for vengence because he bombed my city and i will avenge the whole city ending this war so i can leave to get back to minecraftia and live in peace! " replied Josh, " Well you must be Steve's son then " said the docter, " Wait a minute, im the son of Steve?! " asked Josh, " Well yah, he was my friend, he joined the war and ended part one of it, now you must end part 2 and end it all and leave this land in peace, so you are the son of Steve, but he died, he was killed by Herobrine, the possesed brother of Notch " said the docter, " So i have to end this war, and i know Notch was the guy that made the realms of minecraft, Im gonna end this war and avenge the city, the village, and my father". Chapter 3: Assassinate Herobrine, Josh was looking for Herobrine and found him on the mountion looking at the destroyed city without knowing Josh was right behind him, Josh assassinated him and saw a little orb that went right into Josh's sword, " Wait a minute! " said Josh, he picked up something that the wither droped, it was a black orb, Josh pulled the orb out of his pocket and it went right into his sword, he knew what they ment, the blue orb was from herobrine, it meant it is for strength, the black orb ment anger, Josh needed 3 more orbs to complete the sword to kill the Ender Lord, he knew how to kill the ender lord when he got herobrines orb and put it in his sword with the withers black orb with the blue orb, Josh's sword glew telling him that he was near the next orb, he saw a little hole in the gound, he walked into it, he saw a light on the red orb that meant war, he collected the orb and put it in his sword, he had 2 left to complete the sword. Chapter 4: 2 Orbs Left, Josh was tring to find the fourth orb for his sword, his sword glew green telling him he was near the courage orb, he walked into a cave finding a large amount of creepers, he hid behind a block and he killed all the creepers when he got up from hiding behind the block, he did not see the courage orb but a door opened, Josh walked in and saw the Creeper King, he was ready to kill the creeper king, " Josh, its about time, take this green orb, i am on the good side like you so dont kill me " said the Creeper King, " Ok, i will leave, oh yah, thanks C King " said Josh, " Your welcome Josh " replied the Creeper King, Josh left the cave and put the orb in his sword, " One Orb Left " said Josh. Chapter 5: The Final Orb, Josh looked everywhere but he could not find the final orb, until his sword glew white for Bravery, but all of a sudden the orb appeared in the distence, it was a fake though the orb came out of Josh, he was the final orb all along but he never knew, he was a brave little fellow, but he was the final orb because he has bravery inside him when he saved the village from herobrine three times but he never saved the city from the ender lord, he completed the sword , he was ready to fight the ender lord, but he had to train alot, he was training for two whole days, he never stoped, he rested when he was done, Josh was ready to fight the ender lord, but he had to find him, Josh saw a giant laser in the distence, it was a death sign, Josh only had a madder of time to save minecraft, he ran to the laser and saw the Ender Lord, Josh gasped, the mayor was the ender lord, the mayor turned back into his ender self, " it was you all along, ive always trusted you, but you are the ender lord, you bombed the city, you killed everyone, youve taken everything from me that i loved, now ive gotta kill you " said Josh, " Well how are you gonna kill me, you only ha.......... oh the orbs, well you still arent that powerful, you dont have a chance Josh, just give up! " said the Ender Lord, " IM THE SON OF STEVE!!, IM A HERO!, IM NOT GIVING UP BECAUSE I AM A HERO!!!, AND IM GONNA SAVE THIS LAND FROM YOUR PLANS!!!! " yelled Josh, " Ok, your gonna die then, lets fight! " yelled the ender lord. Chapter 6: The Final Battle, Josh and the Ender Lord start fighting, Josh is winning because of his sword, but all of a sudden Josh's sword brakes leaving the orbs alone without the sword of heroicness, the ender lord throws a painful punch putting Josh onto the ground, all of a sudden the orbs fly right into Josh making him the ultimante, he fights the Ender Lord bare fisted while the orbs are inside him, they are both matched but Josh is winning, Josh knocks the ender lord out cold, he destroys the laser, Josh had saved minecraft, the Ender Lord gets up and stabs Josh in the back with a shard of Josh's broken sword, but the ender lord dies after he stabs Josh, Josh falls on the ground bleeding with a shard of his broken sword, he lies there dieing, instead of dieing, the orbs energy saves him but the orbs come out useless now that it healed Josh, " Ive ended the Ender War! " said Josh, he has avenged the dead ones and ended the largest war in minecraft history, " Its all over, finally " Josh was happy that he has avenged all the dead ones. Chapter 7: The End of the Ender War, MCOrigin island celebrated the ending of the ender war, they all where happy so they made a portal for Josh to get back home to Minecraftia, " Thanks guys, See yah! " said Josh, he entered the portal, Josh was happy to be home even though his parents where dead, he went home, got in his bed, and he fell asleep. Chapter 8: The End of the Origins, Josh woke up in his bed, " It was just a dream, it felt like it was real though " said Josh, his parents walked in hugging him because he was in a coma for some reason, he was happy it was just a dream, he explained his dream to his parents and he lived awake and living, he made a story that you are reading right now, this story was his dream in a world called MCOrigin Island, You are reading his book right now because he was the only one who had this dream, his dream was about a adventure to end a war and save minecraft. The End of Minecraft Origins!
Now, onto what I think of your story. First of all, your spelling and grammar is atrocious with a capital A. Your contractions don't have apostrophes, you use multiple punctuation points ("!!!!!!!!") in your sentences, and your spelling just sucks, it's making my computer's auto-spell checker go wild.. You also used the wrong homophones in some places ("your" where it should be "you're", etc). The story itself isn't terrible, though it isn't too original. All in all, I'm not sure you're cut out for writing, but you should definitely pay more attention in your English/Language Arts classes if you want to continue being an author.
(It's a good idea to pay attention in class anyways.)
1. Oceans. The changes they made just ruined them for me.
2. Cold taigas/snow biomes. I can't stand the snow and I hate it when I find a nice place to build with a god damned snowy biome next to it. I don't want to look out of my beach house window and see a cold taiga.
3. Mesas. I just think they're ugly.
You probably won't get very much for $5 when it comes to renting a server. Maybe a few hundred MB of RAM and no customer support, if there even are any companies that have $5 monthly plans.
Short answer to your main question is no. Your laptop doesn't have the RAM capabilities. Honestly, just buy a new computer if you want to host a server from home.

Chapter 4: 2 Orbs Left, Josh was tring to find the fourth orb for his sword, his sword glew green telling him he was near the courage orb, he walked into a cave finding a large amount of creepers, he hid behind a block and he killed all the creepers when he got up from hiding behind the block, he did not see the courage orb but a door opened, Josh walked in and saw the Creeper King, he was ready to kill the creeper king, " Josh, its about time, take this green orb, i am on the good side like you so dont kill me " said the Creeper King, " Ok, i will leave, oh yah, thanks C King " said Josh, " Your welcome Josh " replied the Creeper King, Josh left the cave and put the orb in his sword, " One Orb Left " said Josh. Chapter 5: The Final Orb, Josh looked everywhere but he could not find the final orb, until his sword glew white for Bravery, but all of a sudden the orb appeared in the distence, it was a fake though the orb came out of Josh, he was the final orb all along but he never knew, he was a brave little fellow, but he was the final orb because he has bravery inside him when he saved the village from herobrine three times but he never saved the city from the ender lord, he completed the sword , he was ready to fight the ender lord, but he had to train alot, he was training for two whole days, he never stoped, he rested when he was done, Josh was ready to fight the ender lord, but he had to find him, Josh saw a giant laser in the distence, it was a death sign, Josh only had a madder of time to save minecraft, he ran to the laser and saw the Ender Lord, Josh gasped, the mayor was the ender lord, the mayor turned back into his ender self, " it was you all along, ive always trusted you, but you are the ender lord, you bombed the city, you killed everyone, youve taken everything from me that i loved, now ive gotta kill you " said Josh, " Well how are you gonna kill me, you only ha.......... oh the orbs, well you still arent that powerful, you dont have a chance Josh, just give up! " said the Ender Lord, " IM THE SON OF STEVE!!, IM A HERO!, IM NOT GIVING UP BECAUSE I AM A HERO!!!, AND IM GONNA SAVE THIS LAND FROM YOUR PLANS!!!! " yelled Josh, " Ok, your gonna die then, lets fight! " yelled the ender lord. Chapter 6: The Final Battle, Josh and the Ender Lord start fighting, Josh is winning because of his sword, but all of a sudden Josh's sword brakes leaving the orbs alone without the sword of heroicness, the ender lord throws a painful punch putting Josh onto the ground, all of a sudden the orbs fly right into Josh making him the ultimante, he fights the Ender Lord bare fisted while the orbs are inside him, they are both matched but Josh is winning, Josh knocks the ender lord out cold, he destroys the laser, Josh had saved minecraft, the Ender Lord gets up and stabs Josh in the back with a shard of Josh's broken sword, but the ender lord dies after he stabs Josh, Josh falls on the ground bleeding with a shard of his broken sword, he lies there dieing, instead of dieing, the orbs energy saves him but the orbs come out useless now that it healed Josh, " Ive ended the Ender War! " said Josh, he has avenged the dead ones and ended the largest war in minecraft history, " Its all over, finally " Josh was happy that he has avenged all the dead ones. Chapter 7: The End of the Ender War, MCOrigin island celebrated the ending of the ender war, they all where happy so they made a portal for Josh to get back home to Minecraftia, " Thanks guys, See yah! " said Josh, he entered the portal, Josh was happy to be home even though his parents where dead, he went home, got in his bed, and he fell asleep. Chapter 8: The End of the Origins, Josh woke up in his bed, " It was just a dream, it felt like it was real though " said Josh, his parents walked in hugging him because he was in a coma for some reason, he was happy it was just a dream, he explained his dream to his parents and he lived awake and living, he made a story that you are reading right now, this story was his dream in a world called MCOrigin Island, You are reading his book right now because he was the only one who had this dream, his dream was about a adventure to end a war and save minecraft. The End of Minecraft Origins!
Now, onto what I think of your story. First of all, your spelling and grammar is atrocious with a capital A. Your contractions don't have apostrophes, you use multiple punctuation points ("!!!!!!!!") in your sentences, and your spelling just sucks, it's making my computer's auto-spell checker go wild.. You also used the wrong homophones in some places ("your" where it should be "you're", etc).
The story itself isn't terrible, though it isn't too original. All in all, I'm not sure you're cut out for writing, but you should definitely pay more attention in your English/Language Arts classes if you want to continue being an author.
(It's a good idea to pay attention in class anyways.)

2. Cold taigas/snow biomes. I can't stand the snow and I hate it when I find a nice place to build with a god damned snowy biome next to it. I don't want to look out of my beach house window and see a cold taiga.
3. Mesas. I just think they're ugly.

Short answer to your main question is no. Your laptop doesn't have the RAM capabilities. Honestly, just buy a new computer if you want to host a server from home.
Or you could drop about $30 a month for hosting.
