That's just a fix to use the newest version of MCMap (so new blocks will show up) and to read the new Anvil files; nothing else has been updated in that yet. Don't consider this an official release... it's purely for the impatient people!
An error window pops up saying that "the application requires Mac OS X 10.7 or later." I'm using 10.6.7. Could you please fix that?
I like your imagination and details!
What timeline is it supposed to be, "now-time"?
With all those brick buildings it kinda looks like a late 19th century early 20th century town!
Yup! The city is supposed to be in the present, but the buildings are meant to be from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. I also planned to build a 1950s style suburb but I abandoned the project before I got there.
Holographic Enhancement Unit as well as the Do It Yourself Ultimate Chemistry Set for Kids! If you can fix the technology of the past, maybe you can get a leg up in the present!
edit: apparently creating an End Portal Frame piece in Creative Mode isn't possible?
I've been looking for good seeds for towns for ages, and I think I've found one. "Kyangombe" spawns you on a pretty nice peninsula in a dense forest. I've burnt down some trees and filled in 2 or 3 small ponds so far, but here's what the peninsula looks like:
It's not that big, but there's enough flat land near the spawn for you to build a town, some flat hills to the east to give the town a nice view, and ocean all around the peninsula like you wanted.
*The viewer is set to 3 blocks 'above sea level' to show you how much flat land there is.
It`s really nice, may I know if this town is inspired by a particular one?
A few, actually. Some of the earlier buildings are inspired by ones from Galena, IL, and the newer ones by Gastown in Vancouver, BC. The rest are from random small towns.

Yeah. ): I hope they fix it. For now I'm only going to build on the north side of the peninsula.

Oh hot damn.

I'd love to build on swamps and I've found tons of seeds with huge swamp biomes, but the transitions... ):

OH GOD.
I love this. So much.

June 13:
- A few new buildings, built on earlier ones I demolished
- New streetlamps!
The town in MCMap
The "Bangor Building"
One angle of the exterior:
Another:
The "Marijuana Party Headquarters"
(Because that's the building I was inspired by)
Super artsy diagonal view:
Boring face-on view:
The "Springfield Building"
The waterfront (for now)
Comments are always welcome!
