MCP is giving me too many !@#$ing problems here is what is happening: I can decompile but when I try to recompile it gives me 100 errors and I have done everything I am supposed to do. For right now I need one to two days to gather my thought and then contine modding
By setting a negative float to generateLightBrightnessTable method in WorldProvider, it is possible to get something like that.
Problem: When you place a torch, it will only update once you remove that torch or lightsource.
i'm currently trying to find a workaround/way to get it to update properly.
If i can get this working, this will be the nighttime in my new dimension. (The Purgatory)
This isn'T your game. Its in beta. Your thread suck. You suck. Don't update ur game if ur not happy. Realism? its a game. So stop complaining and don't use these feature.

Not to sound very mean but.... a new game engine? WTF? Also it doesn't look like ya know what a "modder" nor "programmer" means. It would be really cool to see this come to life buuut it's most likely not going to. :/
Game Engine = The way thing work.
Minecraft Engine Example: When you jump, the way it feel. When you swim, how fast do you swim. etc. etc.
MW2 Engine Example: When you knife, the way the animation is. when you shoot a grenade, the animation of your character
(Which is why mw2, cod4 and mw3 are so alike, because its alway the same engine except for mw2 which update the cod4 one and mw3, infinity ward shared the engine with sledgehammer and changed it a little bit.(I love infinity ward's game btw))
This would work much better/smoother/more flow if it was in C++. This kind of thing is alway better in C++ since thats memory editing. (In example, a aimbot on lets say mw2 on pc. Thats in C++) Unless i'm completely wrong and and its actually an ingame mod and not a third party tool, this might be hard to complete.

if you can't explain any of those 2, quit modding and go read a java book. Modding is the art of scripting and knowing the language.
