posted a message on HUGE 8-BIT REDSTONE CALCULATOR/COMPUTER! [VANILLA CREATIVE]
    Hey Guys! Rails Here :)

Here is my Video demonstrating my 8-Bit Minecraft Redstone Calculator/Computer, with an ALU currently able to do up to 8-Bit Calculation, it is fully interfaced with basic UI functionality, including the ability to boot and unload to default state. It is interfaced with a 20x20 Screen/VDU with BOTH Input and Output Displays.

I hope you guys enjoy and check out my channel for some other awesome vids :) .

Feel free to post below if you have any questions about the build in regards to redstone circuits & logic.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This build is 100% Vanilla Creative w/ the help of World Edit for copy/paste functions, I also DO NOT use command blocks in any way in my creations as I find they ruin the fun/complexity of redstone creations, this is raw Redstone Circuitry and Logic.

posted a message on Why Do People Believe In God?
I am personally an Atheist, so I can't relate, however you can argue that being an atheist does give you a more objective and sidelined observant view of the whole religion thing, and from what I've interpreted it seems there are many, many, many reasons why:

1.People are brought up in a religious environment and as such God & Religion play a part in their day-to-day lives and they develop a mindset where God/Religion is simply fundamental to their world, and they believe that it just is how it is and Religion/God is the center of society. These people also tend to be the more close minded religious people that plague our planet and hinder logical progress & thought.

    2. People fall into a depressive/hollow feeling phase in their lives and end up desperately looking for something, for which Religion provides easy and superficial hope & reassurance for people who are looking for said emotions and have failed to find them elsewhere in life.

    3. People who experience a heavy biochemical sensory phenomena/hallucination or an event they don't have the mental capability/knowledge/understanding to comprehend such as a near-death experience, sensory-overloading joy or something they deem miraculous and as such attribute it to a higher power and depending on the society in which they live they may drift towards seeking interest in their societies' predominant religion. Those can be interpreted/broken down more and in different ways but in my opinion they represent the general reasons why Religion/Belief in God, especially in Organised, Boundaried Religion tends to have much support, predominantly the first point, the way you are raised/educated has a huge impact on your beliefs & Ideals.

Again this is my OPINION and OBSERVATIONS, feel free to rebut/disagree with me but don't flame, cheers.

posted a message on Questions For Atheist
    1. How did the Universe begin? One of the main questions religion provides a shallow and ridiculous answer to, for a simple reason: WE DON'T KNOW.
    2. Where did Morals come from?Morals came from our ability to think, what separates us from other species, and what developed our brains, was that we sought not only how to use what was in our environments to ensure our survival, but also how to improve what we used (eg. Tying a rock to a stick to make an axe). And thus having developed this thinking pattern, we seek to improve everything we process, thus we create standards for pretty much everything, including social interaction and behavior.
    3. Why do we have a conscious? Our conscious is the medium through which we interpret all of our senses.
    4. Where do you go when you die? When all the cells in your body die, you essentially become dead organic matter, which other microorganisms can then use for nutrition, thus why dead animals rot, they are decomposed by bacteria, fungi etc. As far as your conscious self, it no longer exists, our consious is essentially an intricate network of neurons that link to each other and interact in specific ways which make us "us". Thus when we die and there is no longer any inter-neural relationships, we no longer exist.
    5. Why are we here?Natural Selection: A process in which the environment passively allows the better survival of organisms better adapted to their environment.
    6. Where does Religion, Art, and Music come from?Creativity, at its core is the desire to place a thought into the physical plane. (Even though thoughts are also technically physical)
    7. Is it okay to commit murders, rape, homosexuality, going to stripbars, looking at pornography, and other forms of rebellion if you think there is no God to guide you?No, not by our social standards, it doesn't matter who is/isn't there to guide you, wrong is wrong (Although Homosexuality, stripbars and porn arent really wrong, the others you stated definitely are though).
    8. How did everything come from nothing? That is the big question that theoretical physicists are attempting to answer, I should add they have much more valid and understandable theories than religion has come up with.
    9. If we came from monkeys how come there are monkeys still living today?Again, Natural Selection, which would have selected for the evolution of a particular sub-species of monkeys/primates that developed a favorable adaptation. Also, a species can separate into two different (or one same and another different) or more species, this is known as Speciation, and can be due to many different factors. There are two main types of speciation: Allopatric Speciation (Where part of a population becomes geographically separated from the main population, and thus over time due to Natural Selection and Genetic Drift will eventually Speciate), there is also Sympatric Speciation; Where a group from a population begins to occupy a different niche, eventually adapting to that niche and thus eventually speciating).
    10. How did the eye form? Through the long and Gradual process of evolution, it is believed it originated as a portion of photosensitive tissue.

posted a message on Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas: An analysis
A very interesting and well-written article.

I personally like fallout vegas slightly better, though it is a tough decision as they are both great games with their own unique feel.

But I believe new vegas has slightly better game mechanics, a better storyline in which you have many more options on the path you wish to take and the kind of character you want to be. Also like you said, the companion system in new vegas is much better and gives you a kind of "team" feel when exploring with companions. all of these things, in my opinion make up for the lesser detailed envirinment design, the one aspect in which I would name F3 the victor. :)

posted a message on Minecraft is always improving!
I must say, a great post Gaiacow, raising some very insteresting points, I very much agree that minecraft has evolved to become better, and that new features and updates should be welcomed, as with each new feature, each new block and function, a great amount of new possibilities and ideas are generated, without which the game would eventually become repetitive and "boring". We need to be glad that new updates and features are added so frequently to keep us entertained. That is one of the things that makes this game unique, most other games rarely receive any updates/new features if any and when they do its only on one or two occasions and they eventually drop off the radar.

On the discussion about minecraft being classified as an RPG, I believe minecraft has this RPG "feel" but not in all of its modes,in creative the gameplay and feel is purely sandbox based, there is nothing to find, you vant level up etc. But the survival game mode contains a great amount of RPG traits. When you start you have nothing and you must build your player up, like in most rpg games, get materials to make weapons, armor make a house
