I just finished Acrane Asylum one hour ago, and damn, that was a great map.
First i was like "yeah, quite easy, just one more wool to go", but that surprised me. Great idea there.
The loot chests are well-balanced and really helpful.
The system of hidden zones with great stuff is really cool too (this way, my paranoïa can be useful :3 )
There's only a few things that I didn't really like, like the cavern zone (I forgot its name, but there was ares' axe just before entering it, to the right at the first intersection) that was really short and not really enjoying (4 enderpearls and some food, and I had the wool within 2min, without taking down more than 10 mobs)
There were also a bit too much ores among the walls (But it's not that bad, it just is weird)
One more thing, the box where the chainmail armor with thorns V is is made of lapis, but by getting this lapis, it's posible to get 5-6 diamonds (with the lapis ores in the walls) and i think it's a bit too early to have diamond stuff (even if it's a small part)
You're using really well the void (even though I hate it D:), and are using every mob well (depending on the area and on the other mobs). It is really challenging without being too hardcore. I'm not a pro of ctm maps, but I'm far away from being a beginner, and I really enjoyed this map !
Well then, that's quite all I had to say (even if I want to talk about some little things, they're details and could spoil, so I'm not risking it). I just wanted to let you know that this map is great, and I'm sure you can do even better (even if this map is already a great map).
Oh, and if you're making another map, I would really like to help you out ! I've beaten 8 maps (this one included) and am a great fan of ctm maps, so it would be a pleasure for me to help

So far so good, I wanted to find a nice spot for a screenshot to be the background of my thumbnail, so I went and explored the map a little to find a good spot, I regret looking ahead cause I'm scared of what's coming. Many, many, many deaths are coming. You should add a death counter in your next map, just sayin.

We've recorded a couple of episodes, just waiting for the other view to be sent to me. I will edit the first episode tonight and maybe upload it as well, but for some reason my upload speed has dramatically decreased on Youtube. I don't know if it's a problem with Youtube and it's servers or my upload speed was decreased by my internet provider.

Comments: This Map was very boring and all of the areas were basically the same. Every area used the base block stone, every area had the fleecy box in an obvious spot and every area took me 1 minute to beat. The mapper for some reason gave the player diamonds in the starting area along with iron. Before the first wool I had diamond pants and a diamond helmet, Iron boots and a "flak vest" that didn't even offer projectile protection. I found this map repetitive and boring, I would also expect more out of someones third full map.

The dark world two was a quick map and only took a month, the arcane asylum took about 4 months and I expect this map to take about 6 months.
