    I can't get "/time set day" to work anymore. I have to use "/time set hour 0" instead. Not a big deal at all, but figured you'd want to know.

    Small suggestion for your FAQ section on the first post of the thread: To appease morons like "Davve" above, you could add a line and a link to the tool for restoring .jar associations so that jar files run like executables: http://www.jonelo.de/java/jarfix/

    Since people like that usually aren't educated enough to fix a file association the normal way. :/

    Then again, people like him probably couldn't handle downloading and running that program either, so maybe it's not important.

    I tried it on a fresh jar and the patch went smoothly. Mod is awesome, landscapes are gorgeous, as well as interiors. There's one small thing I noticed though. If you place lightstone (haven't checked with torches yet) beside water, the lighting is smooth on the shore, and blocky in the water. This isn't a complaint, just a minor bug report. Hope it helps.

    I really think if there were a mod of the year, this should be it. It is just the best. :Diamond:

    No, I'm telling you that until Notch claims someone is infringing his copyrighted material, and a court upholds that claim, no infringement has taken place.

    In any case, this has been argued to death, and Notch hasn't taken any kind of action against anyone, so we should both stop hijacking this thread. It's completely irrelevant to MrMessiah's mods since he's changed to a patcher anyway.

    Contrary to popular belief, Notch not liking something doesn't make it illegal. There *could* be a copyright infringement, or there *could* be a breach of license terms, but neither of those is what people understand as "illegal", and until it is tested in court, with a judgment in favour of Notch, it isn't illegal. Not going to happen. Notch has more sense than to start suing players for increasing the popularity of his game, for free!

    That Notch hasn't done anything to hinder the modding community so far implies at least acceptance of it on his part. His license terms make exceptions for digging around in the code, and your post makes me think you've never even read it. The bit about using a decompiler making modding illegal is just silly.

    TL;DR: Notch may not like it too much, but that doesn't make it illegal, and it's up to him to hurry up and provide a proper modding API, if he wants to change the status quo.

    Hey0's dns records have been in flux, so it wasn't just me having difficulty accessing his site, but I can say both links are working now on my end.

    @PAL-18 - Pretty sure anyone who can use /warp can use any warps that are set. I know admins/ops can go to any in the list.

    There's still a lot of unpredictability about what mods and combinations of mods will work. If you're trying to use it with other mods, try changing the order of installation and see if that helps. That all said, there are some bugs in the Skymod, but it shouldn't cause a crash.

    Does it crash on a freshly created world too, or just previously played ones?

    I'm getting a weird side effect from this mod. Since installing it, sand doesn't fall when I dig blocks out from under it.

    Only other mods i'm using are SimpleMap/Ambient Occlusion.

    Edit: nvm. It's a side effect of stopping time (always day). I can live with that. :Diamond:

    Sounds like that's what he means. It would be cool to have a larger field of view on high res screens.

    For everyone waiting on the day/night mod (which I'm starting to think is dead, Assassians4hire hasn't been on in a week) there's now this: viewtopic.php?f=25&t=63448

    It does a lot more than just the day/night setting, but seems very functional so far, even with the ambient occlusion and minimap mods.
