It's way worse than that. I've pressed wasd a million times, nothing except the occasional random direction. And as far as I know, I didn't really do anything, I just opened it up and it wasn't working. The ONLY thing out of the ordinarily I did was download this IDVault my (horrible) new laptop keeps bugging me to update. <.<
Well...one more try..Yes this is four posts in a row, but no one is going to see it if It's not up at the top. Perhaps someone could direct me to somewhere else I could try to get help?

Okay, so I'm almost one-hundred percent sure that I did something really stupid that's making this happen, but I just can't figure out what. Pretty much, not matter what I press, it just cycles through the items in my inventory...except the jump button still works. There's probably some kind of "number lock" setting or something that I hit, right? Because I have no clue what's happening. By pressing the wasd keys over and over sometimes I'll start to move in one direction, even when I let go of the keys. Also, could someone please help?
EDIT: Oh yeah, a little more information. All the letter keys, and number keys just advance the item I'm holding by one. Hey, while I'm at it, here's something even weirder. Whenever I try to change the controls to a letter key, the first one I press WILL change, but it will not work when I try to use that button in game, and if I try to change another key after the first one any time after I have the game open, it will give me a number and if I press the key again it will give me the number after that number. For example if I tried to change forward to w and then back to s it would say "Back: 1" And then if I did it again "Back: 2" ect. Please help.
