Ok. I don't understand what these "Illagers" do. What is their main purpose? I just can't understand the gist of these things. I think that we should have some way of trade with them, or at least make them have a boss figure at the top of the mansion, kind of like the Twilight Lich. I would call him, "The Librarian," maybe, or "The Alchemist," or something like that. I would appreciate a reply. Thanks.
They're dungeon enemies. They serve the same purpose that Guardians and Shulkers do.

Right clicking on them tells them to sit now like cats and dogs.

That function hasn't been added yet. Will be soon enough though once it's finished.

I for one like having a companion that can actually keep up with you and not die all the time. Since they fly they don't take fall damage, they are really small and don't suffocate anywhere after teleporting, and they can be put on your shoulder of course.
It is annoying that they fly off after you jump, but on the bright side they seem to fly towards you and go back on anyway.

Only advantage I find with using the recipe book over shaped crafting is when crafting a bunch of different items in quick succession.

Concrete powder is not naturally generated, it is crafted only.

For future reference, if they did add a new block that is naturally generated, re-using a seed would actually add the block to the world since the seed would use the new generation.

Only some mobs are capable of giving you a potion effect. Cave spiders give you poison, Husks give you the hunger debuff, Strays give you slowness, etc.

The ability to play the game without looking at Wikipedia is a welcome change in my opinion. Maybe it can be tweaked but I think it's fine being in the game? After all it's a separate GUI and you can choose not to use it, but for new players it's a godsend.

The process is greatly reduced to just gathering and smelting if you dig the hardened clay out of a mesa, but in contrast to other blocks it is pretty convoluted.

.
So don't use them. What else needs to be said? You don't like this completely optional feature therefore the game is ruined because you particular don't like it?

They are currently limited by the fact the game can only have 8 more blocks before it hits the ID limit. Hold your horses until they break that limit and they may add more blocks.

Obviously the goal of this wouldn't be to prevent piracy but rather have a sense of humor.

It was negativity received because it required no timing, which was the point of adding a cooldown: Make you time your hits if you want good damage. Even if you spam clicked with those changes you did good damage.

They expiernmented with a change similar to that in the 1.9.1 snapshots and it was horribly recieved and reverted to what we have now, so I'm not sure how that would play out

Jitter-clicking wasn't removed, you can still do it. It's just that swinging fast does horrible damage now (damage is scaled from 20% to 100% over the course of .6 seconds) So why would you want to hold down attack to swing as fast as possible, when it's still going to do horrible damage? And bare in mind a mob/player can only be damage 2 times per second, so while you're swinging wildly fast only 2 of the hits are actually going to register every second.
I just don't see why you'd want to do this. It seems kinda useless and doesn't address the complaints that PvP players generally have about the 1.9 combat.

Cords should be right under MultiplayerChunkCache. If you don't see it than you have Reduced Debug Info turned on. Turn it off in chat settings.
Also, if you're playing on a multiplayer server, the server owners may change the settings to force reduced debug info, in that case you can't do anything. In singleplayer though it's in the options menu.
