Hiya! Quick question: With the Mob Properties mod - am I able to alter what blocks an enderman is allowed to pick up? Can I turn off its ability to pick up dirt and allow it to pick up (and put down) something like a spawner?
Trying out this modpack because THAUMCRAFT!! There's also a bunch of mods here I've never used so I'm excited.
But...and this might be an obvious error on my part... I can't get Rei's minimap and NEI to show up in game. I tried the "push 'o' with inventory open" thing and went into the configs to look for hints but, I'm stuck!

I know why it's showing them twice. I have tried launching Optifine with the Magic Launcher. Should I install Optifine manually instead?
I'm not too familiar with Optifine, I just started using it but I put it last in my .jar file and I don't have to launch it separately with something else. Maybe I'm the one using it wrong. Seems to be working ok though since I don't get giant chunk holes anymore.

I might be wrong about this but it looks like you need to update your Java. Also, if you could post the whole log and not just the part with the error in it, it's more helpful. Under a spoiler of course.

All of your .jar files are installed twice. Also, several of your mods are outdated and will likely cause more crashes if not updated. And don't forget the config files.
im having trouble with NEI. i check it after changing to jar and it worked fine. but after putting the mods in and the config files. i started a new world and NEI is no longer there. i checked in a creative world and all of the mods r there. so i started again with a fresh .minecraft again but i have the same problem. the game seams to work fine but NEI is not there. i tyred putting the mods in by them self, not all of them worked on there own but the ones that did NEI was working. im thinking of down loading all the mod again and starting fresh. any help would be great thanx.

Not sure what happened with my original install. After doing all that ya'll have suggested, I ended up just erasing everything and redownloading the programs, then reinstalling EVERYTHING EVER OMG. Anyway, I'm off to be magical!!
That's weird.. your MC shouldn't even start with the META-INF folder.. but MC Patcher deletes it. Try running the game without MC Patcher, it can overwrite some ModLoader files. Also, check if you can find TC2 items in your creative inventory.

My creative mode has all of the possible crafting things in it. BTW, the flying carpet is totally fun!
...then something with the installation went wrong. Are you sure it's properly installed - do you encounter Thaumcraft-specific objects, like wisps, crystals, monoliths or silverwood?
Yes, I have collected several crystals, zombie brains, and such and found a few obelisks.
And I've double checked all my install parts...ModLoader, Forge 3.1.3.105, and Thaumcraft 2.1.5. I also use MCPatcher.
I just installed this mod today! It looks awesome! But I'm having an issue. I looked back several pages to see if anyone has talked about it already so I'm sorry if I'm repeating. I've looked on other forum sites also which just result in lots of pointing and laughing.
I can't get things to craft. I have all of the components but the crafting table isn't recognizing them. What am I doing wrong?
