Although (of course) I still have just a little bit of lighting critiques. I have my brightness set to moody, but it doesn't look that way at all. It's just too bright. Take a look at this dark oak forest with Hafen on its own compared to Hafen with Pixel Reality Luminance (Full). I think the broader dynamic range is more appealing simply because the contrast keeps things from looking flat. This is just one of those things that steps up your pack from having not only great spritework, but a good ambient feel to it as well. Besides daylight, I think the artificial lighting could be touched up. Remember that light doesn't change color based on distance, only in the amount of light. What I mean by this is that torches don't give off white-ish light that changes to orange, but its orange throughout and just gets darker as it continues. Make it any shade you'd like, just remember that the light itself won't change color. Having consistent color will make it blend nicely together when you place light sources near each other. Note how the torch is an orange flame giving off lighting that is a different color in your system, but not in Luminance.
Thanks for the feedback - I'm working on changing the lightmap now. Again a bit of a delayed reply (I just didn't want to relearn how to work the lightmap texture, since it was so long since I originally did it lol), so apologies for that. I'll update you on the progress. Unfortunately, as I'm sure you know, OptiFine isn't released yet for 1.15, so I have to work in 1.14. I can't wait until they update.
I have a few resource packs that use CIT. These RPs work perfectly in an OptiFine-only profile, but in a Forge profile with Optifine, the CIT do not work. Does anyone know how to resolve this issue?
I love this pack and can't wait to see how you will update it to 1.14
I really like what you have going with the lightmap to complement the color palette, but I noticed you hadn't made a lightmap for night vision. So, I made my own based on your existing lightmap. The pictures are in the attachments. In order: my lightmap edit, an example of daytime lighting, daytime + night vision, night time, night + night vision. I could send more pictures if you'd like, or just put in the lightmap I provided and test for yourself. I hope you like it!
After a little bit of use of this, I have a few suggestions/critiques.
The pink still kind of set me off. I wish it was a cooler or a more fitting color. Also, the dual wielding slot is white, and so are the numbers for how many are in your stack. This makes it a little hard to read the numbering, especially on things like torches.
Many people disliked the red GUI, so I have made a drastic overhaul. Container UI now have a wooden theme and the HUD is less lacy, simplified to aid readability of items in the item bar.
Edit: sorry for late response! I have not been too active on the forums lately, but I figured I ought to come back for a bit just to update this thread
A Note For Bedrock / Windows 10 Users
Hafen is available on the Marketplace for 660 Minecoins. The Bedrock edition of Hafen is called "Squishy Pixels." The support is greatly appreciated!
Feedback is Important!
So please feel free to let me know your thoughts!

NOTE: Hafen's font may be difficult to read, so if you would like to use a more basic font, I have included one in the resource pack. Within the fonts folder (assets\minecraft\textures\font) there is a file called "optional ascii". If you wish to use the alternate font, delete the "ascii" file and rename "optional ascii" to "ascii".

Very pretty! I'm always a big fan of 16x pixel art packs and yours looks very nice so far!
Many than ks! I am going for a more colorful aesthetic and trying to craft a sunny, natural environment. I like to look at some of the pixel art in traditional games and try to employ some of the technique their artists used.
I like this. It has a pleasant charm and personality to it.
The colors are cool and comforting. The textures are pure and simple. It all blends together so perfectly.
Keep up the good work.
I feel like it could use more contrast? I feel like that would make the blocks pop out more. But if subtle and soft is what you're going for, then that's a good look
Thank you! I would like the pack to have a sharper and crisper aesthetic, so high contrast is a good thing to employ. I can try messing around with it and perhaps choosing more extreme colors.
Quite good! Looking forward to seeing more. Post a photo of all the tiles you've completed when you get the chance. Your wood, stone, and grass textures are distinguished well, which is excellent, as is your limited color palette. I'd prefer a less blue hue for stone, but that again is hard to judge until everything gets presented together.
Do not get disgruntled by a lack of feedback on these forums. The WIP community is inactive compared to the main Resource Packs section. Keep it up!
Thank you for your feedback and response! I posted more pictures to show some more blocks and context.
Hello friends. This is a fun project I had the idea to start after working on the NieR one which transformed bows into pods. I wondered if it would be possible to transform bows into staves as well. So I began this project. I had a blast working on it. This pack also uses emissive textures.
Essentially, you can transform a bow into any of the 12 staff models this pack provides by renaming it with an anvil.

There are no other mods installed. OptiFine is loaded, all other functions of OptiFine work, just not CIT.

In the blockstates file try removing normal from inside the quotation marks, so it will be "": [
