Experience in modded minecraft [this information will not be leading in making our decision]: Played some of the old technic launcher packs many years ago (Like tekkit), but not much experience with the newer ones.

The new water physics in this update do make sense. I think the main issue is that they came this late, and many builds rely on the current system. On a more positive note however, even if this renders a lot of creations useless, there's also going to be a lot of new things that we couldn't do with the old water physics.

To be honest, the 'modded argument' kind of annoys me. What is the difference between content that feels vanilla, and content that feels modded. It seems like the majority of new content that mojang adds to the game these days is labelled as modded. From my perspective, the only way that the game will stop getting 'modded content' is if they stop the updates all together.

Anyway, while I don't believe the recent past content we've been getting felt modded, I do think that it was rather lacklustre. The updates didn't really add much to the game that was truly worth getting excited about.

However, with the update aquatic, mojang have finally done what a lot of people have been wanting them to do for quite a while. Find a part of the game that needs significant improvement, and focusing on that for the update. I feel like people are already far more excited for the update aquatic then they have been in previous updates, things that have been requested for many years are finally being addressed (namely the fish models and to some extent a new weapon). While I would agree that this should have been done long ago, I'm not going to complain to much about that because at least this stuff is now happening. Rather too late then not at all right?

Maybe but I somewhat doubt it.

If Mojang stopped adding things, people would get bored. It seems these days there's hate for literally everything that is added into the game. In truth, the type of content in updates hasn't really changed that much. (Though I would say that the combat update and the 1.13 updates do seem to be a little different)
I think that the new textures are better, they look smoother, more refined, and will be more consistent. I will agree that it takes away from some nostalgia though.

I've been playing since beta 1.7, and honestly, I don't think the kind of content being added has changed that much, new mobs, new blocks, etc...
I honestly don't think the game is THAT hard, in fact, they've made some stuff easier by adding the recipe book.
For example, how has the edition of concrete blocks made the game harder?
I understand your position, but mojang has to keep adding content, otherwise people will get bored and inevitably, whatever that content is, the game will strive further from the simplistic form it once was.

Can't be sure, but it SHOULD run, the game runs on most pc/laptops these days. If the frame-rate isn't great he could also try the windows 10 edition of the game, which will almost certainly run well since it is programmed much more efficiently in a different language.
I used to play mc on a computer with 4GB at it worked decently, however an upgrade (if possible) would be recommended.

If you are talking about the laptop that Arrohmel posted at the top, then this is incorrect. The laptop has an AMD cpu, so cannot have INTEL integrated graphics.
If it did though, intel integrated graphics, from my experience, is usable for games like minecraft since it is not at all graphically intensive.

I am am unable to attend minecon on both days because I have things to do at home. I would like to know whether it is vital to go to minecon on both days. Will you miss out on something important like the cape?
