Hey guys, I know it's been a while since I updated my post on here, but I've been really busy finishing up school and doing a lot of other things, so it hasn't been easy to find the time to finally upload the final release version of Outskirts of Sanity 2.

However, I finally got around to it this weekend and am happy to announce that my second map is out of the beta stage and is now a full-fledged map! Thanks again to everyone who supported me throughout everything, especially the LP'ers and Beta Testers !

Due to the fact that I will be going to college next year, I find it very unlikely that I will continue mapmaking in the near future. It has been an incredible and fun experience that I will never forget, and I met a lot of great people through my maps, but sadly I do not have any future plans to continue my mapmaking series. I can't say with certainty that I won't pick up Minecraft mapmaking again later in my life at some point, but I am just letting everyone know not to expect anything from me for a while :/.

And should you ever decide to come back to mapmaking I'll definitely give whatever you come up with a shot.

We finally finished the map! Hurray! There were a few moments of doubt but in the end we managed to pull through and complete the monument in 39 (!) episodes. Collectively we died way over 300 times and lost tons of gear, but we had a lot of fun. A few areas were kinda annoying, especially 'Dark as the Void', we just couldn't figure out a good way to deal with the reapers and the empty woolbox scared us at first. Overall I think the map was fun, it could use a few touchups in some places ( Intersection 4, Static Volt Factory, Molten Fury) in terms of looks, and a few areas need a little balancing: the reapers, maybe the witches, the baby zombies are pretty hard, a few others were surprisingly easy: the spider sewers, molten fury...

Ultimately I'm pretty happy with our run, I was the only one with actual CTM experience and we had never played as a team before, so I expected some difficulties.
I'll definitely keep checking in on this thread and should you ever decide to do another map we'll probably give it a shot!

Here is our latest episode, well into the last area, the last two episode will be published tomorrow and on wednesday!

Good job, very impressive use of redstone! I managed to die only 26 times, which feels like a pretty solid accomplishment! At first I thought the whole TV-show thing was gonna be weird, but I think you pulled it off. Obviously the focus was on killing tons of zombies but there was enough story to keep me going and episode three was a nice change of pace. (even though I have to admit I cheated on the moving parkour bit)

I've been playing and recording the map with a few friends for a while now and we finally reached the monument today and so far we've had a lot of fun. We died a lot, cursed you a few times (those witches....) but never really got stuck or were forced to farm anything for an extended period of time, which is much appreciated.
I also really like the overall design and flow of the map and so far we have not run into any issues whatsoever other than the skydiving not really working (server lag I assume).
