Is there any logical reason why there would be? But no there is no separate thread for 1.10.2.

I do apologize, yes I meant a grade crossing, Yes I was talking about 1.10.2 not 1.7.10, and to straight things out as I am sure that the last part I asked about was very confusing. I was wondering if that in a later update after the basic aspects have been fixed, that we could possibly see the grade crossing that DDC made (that Don implanted into his branch) put
into the game with a option to, I guess mirror the texture of a block we put underneath it, and possibly have one for diagonal (and possibly curve now that I think about it).
Now on the two varieties, I simply ment that Don has two versions on his grade crossing. One of them is a signal pice of track with a crossing over it. The second one are two separate pices that fit over the track (a middle and a side piece) and allow you to replace the standard wood texture with the texture of a block that you put under it, by right clicking.
I apologize again, have a good day.

For now I have on 1.8.9:
- basic block (ex: asphalt)
- basic item, item with metadata
- creative tab
- traffic cones (block states)
- ore generation
- some crafts
My current task is to understand more the block states feature 1.8 added, which replaces the old metadata system (which was easier to use for me). It may take a little time...
After that, I'll just have to configure the blocks, then I'll try to get a chisel-like tool for line selection.
Do you think you're do a back port to 1.7.10?

Ok it's been far to long since I or anyone for that matter has posted here. I was wondering though since this is happening now "Hm, a little birdie told me that the mod owner is making an official update to 1.7.10 as we speak.
Not sure how reliable that source is though. I'll leave all of you to decide.
It might help if the mod owner himself made this post >.>"- Nightshade_Proleath. Will this make Forgotten Nature easy to implement in ExtraBiomesXL?

I do belive everyone needs to see this.

I believe he was trying say " I cry every time" but since his post count is 2 I would have never responded, but since you did Dumboldoor I guess I can respond to your post. Lol, but honestly we should do as Don has suggested and not comment on " these " types of post. So this is my last on of these.

he could give news,
to reveal necessarily everything as regards the next update,
or of what he plans to make for the next update,
but I would wish at least once a month,
who informs us advanced concerning his(her, its) mod,
of these difficulties or by a month,
that he did not drop the projects and the updates concerning his mod.
car I would like to use his(her, its) mod in the next update and the following ones, on my waiter(server) Rp in 1.8 moddées
with several islands, each joined by the railroads of "Row" towards the main city,
with the mod " UniversalCoins " as an economy, with the system of complex job(business), the construction of cities, communities, any facts by the fruit of the work of the players.
I am rather of the patient,
but knowing kind(genre) having no many of these news(short stories) concerning his(her, its) progress,
or that he(it) is under development,
but I look forward to seeing taking(bringing) out the next update.
With as mod: the only ones in 1.8 at present.
Cordially Armand Didier.
What THE HELL are you trying to say/ask Armand18?

"LB Photo Realism Reload!" is a photo realistic resourcepack based on work ofScuttles (LB Photo Realism). "Reloaded" version is very different from the original, because it uses very old textures of LBPR. The main purpose of this resourcepack is to make minecraft look not only as realistic as possible, but also to make it look beautiful and attractive to new players. LBPR Reload is prettyclose to default Minecraft textures, so it won't be a big issue to start playing with it. The pack includes many 3D-models, animations and random textures.
If you have some cool screenshots with LBPR: Reload!, please post them in the comments down below and I will upload them to this gallery.
If you have any video of playing with this resourcepack, please post it in the comments down below and I will post it here.

You'll find this server to be a bit different than most of the other servers out there. For starters, we have multiple worlds, 6 right now. All of these worlds can be accessed from the HUB, which serves as a main base for all activities.
Not all worlds are the same, however. Each world has a different level of technology and as such certain items are prohibited from use. As an example: Backwater is a young world with low technological advancement, so the science of nuclear power has not been invented, prohibiting the building of reactors and such. Every world looks and plays unique, allowing you to have many different play experiences in one server.
Here's our current list of worlds (subject to change):0: Tranator, which contains the HUB.
1: Solum [Creative], a massive world with a large island in the center on which you spawn.
2: Landover [Creative], a island world with a railway circuit.
3: UNDER REVIEW
4: Backwater [Survival], classic Minecraft survival with planes, ships, and trains.
6: Alerak [Survival], a dark snowy world with no sun. For hardcore survivalists.

NOTICE: Naiten has incorporated this branch into the official RoW branch. Please use his version from here on out. This page is for historical data only!
First off, this is not my mod. I'm simply maintaing the 1.7.10 branch while the current developer, Naiten, works on porting it to 1.8.Please visit his forum page here first before continuing.
Now that that's out of the way:
If you've been following Rails of War closely you'll know that the 1.7.10 version has been on hiatus while Naiten completes his studies. You also might be aware that development is proceeding to 1.8, with only the occasional backport present in 1.7.10. Naiten has graciously given me permission to maintain the 1.7.10 version. The mod here may be his, but all bugs should be reported to me as I'm the one maintaining it! Please do not bother him if you have issues with this version!
There's three sections here: Bugs fixed, changes/tweaks/improvements, and bugs known but not going to be fixed. If you find a bug, or want a specific feature let me know! Just remember that not all suggestions will be implemented. This mod has been a haven for railroad fans, and we don't need another item-transport mod in the giant pile. That being said, if you want to transport items ROWAM adds some functionality.
- NO MORE PACKET LEAK! Run your servers 24/7 now!
- Ov's tender now remembers coal value on world reload.
- Lights on engines don't go out when engine is stationary.
- Stock no longer jitters during the first moments of placement.
- Stock can now make turns without binding. This is especially true for the carriage.
- Couplers no longer de-couple after a world reload.
- Numerous track movement fixes.
- Memory run fixed on Ov and its tender. Adds ~12FPS and tons of RAM.
Improvements and New Features:
- Packet system overhauled to significantly reduce transmission loads. Uses only 1% of previous bandwidth.
- Amount of code significantly reduced in classes. Results in less memory usage (broke quite a few things, though).
- Dynamic braking system implemented. Locomotives don't stop on a dime anymore.
- Fueling system updated to allow creative people to instantly fuel any loco.
- You can now fuel locomotives while riding them!
- Added back in all decorations that were in previous RoW versions.
- Added caboose!
- Added lighting to the carriage. There's lights on the ceiling, so it seemed appropriate.
- Handcar now causes hunger. (This one was already in the code, just dummied out.)
- Cher's tender now fuels the Cher. Works the same as the Ov's tender.
- Ov's tender is now rideable.
- Ov's tender, caboose, and rideable tank cart all have braking ability.
- Added ability to use nametag on Ov's tender. Label is longer than the one on locos.
- Tracks switched to blocks. Results in a large FPS boost.
- Train length affects speed and acceleration.
- Added howitzer!
- Added electric SSW engine!
- Added ability to for multiple riders in one cart.
- Added recipes (presented below).
Features and fixes that will NOT be implemented:
- Adding back in 15 degree turns.
- Fix jitters and flipping around corners.
- Locomotive lights leave patches of light sometimes.
***Above lists are subject to much change***

AlcoRail covered most of it. The only thing I'll add is that the 'too far' error is not helped by the fact that each piece of stock has both a front and a back. With some pieces of stock, like locomotives and tenders, it's readily apparent, but others it's not. Even if you think all the stock is facing forward it may not be, so when you try to connect a front and back side of a stock you'll get an error about it being too far. If any of you ever had a set of wooden Brio trains, you'll might remember how each train had magnetic couplers that would only connect when oriented a certain way. ROW trains have a similar 'polarization'.

Can I make a suggestion for ROWAM
I'm redoing the Greenfield rail system but I have a problem...
My problem is I have a wooden crossing on a 4 lane avenue, the crossings look great, no doubt, but I was wondering if you could add a crossing the works like the station edge, it changes according to what block is under it.
Will this do it for you?

Well, after a whole 8 months I'm finally back to my good computer! So here's some pictures of my ROW layout (rendered with a little help from a beefy computer). Yes, I actually use the mods I post in!
Here's a sample of what 4GHz of computer and a bucket of shaders can do:
This map is actually quite old. It's my first and only Minecraft map, and was made with a 1.5 seed. I later converted it the best I could to the 1.6 worldgen, the remnants of which show in the south end of the taiga biome. It's actually much better looking from the ground. The railway does its best to wind through the landscape, using natural formations as best as possible.
This is the main town for the map. It's also the northernmost point on the M&C R.R. route. All the buildings were built in survival. It includes a smithy, florist, bank (with booby traps), stable, and a bar with automated potion machines. The large manor is mine, of course.
Train leaving the tunnel on the south side of the village. It's the only way to get out of the village besides digging a trench or going a long way around. It had to be re-dug once when the 15m curves went away, but it looks better now than it did.
A short bridge just south of the village. Note how the tracks wind under and around the outcropping. The route was picked specifically for this scenery.
A wooded section before the route turns westward. The route crosses a shallow lake before winding through the woods. At the edge there's a small tunnel that goes under a berm dividing the woods from the savanna. Note that the majority of the trees were preserved.
After crossing the savanna, the route turns northward for a bit before splitting. The tunnel in the background contains a switch that diverts the train to the valley village. The tracks to which are just visible in the top right of the picture.
Bridge leading to the aforementioned village. One of my few moments of creativity.
Junction house/town. Used when transferring from the short M&C R.R. to the longer Great Plains Railway. The larger-tanked Yer was used at one time, but has since been switched out as the OV offers more speed, range, and pulling power for the GPR coach. The M&C is generally low on coal after the journey here, so the junction also doubles as a refueling point.
A bridge just west of the desert. The GPR has to climb a hill to get over the dune, with a sheer drop on the other side. The grade has been leveled a bit by cutting into the dune and adding support braces, but it's still a hard climb as the locomotive hasn't had a chance to pick up steam.

Hi everyone, I'm Nerakeus from the minecraft server The Rough Frontier (with RoW).
Recently a creative world has been added, and use of the train and tracks at this time is permitted in that world (buy plots to have it protected or do it out in "wild"..world is normal).
Come check it out and play with the trains! I am trying to revitalize the server and am looking for players to try out the recent changes. Spread the world and tell your friends! The Rough Frontier websight

This looks amazing 1LotS,Sedawan has been telling us on LBPR page that "the guy Is working on textures". It's nice to see that the pack be updated. I was wondering tho if you plan on updating the pack after 1.8? I was also wondering if you will release it in a 64x or a 32x? The last thing I'd like to know is what the Packed Ice texture looks like? I can't what to see what this looks like when it's done.
Updating after 1.8 - of course I will update it(at least for myself). 64x/32x - yes, but a little bit later. Packed ice looks pretty same as normal. If you want to know anything else - just ask
Quote from BLOOD_MASTER_X
I'll put my 2 cents in for a 256x please.
Sorry, but it's not possible I started remaking LBPR much earlier than I posted it on MCF... But I think x128 looks also quite nice
