Subscribe :D | More Videos like this

In this video I give a quick tutorial of my timerless automatic blutric recharge station. It will be part of one of my upcoming tutorials. Power generation can easily be expanded and/or modified. It is also recommended that you place a chunkloader of sorts within the area so that recharging can happen, even when you aren't in the area.
A timerless design means reduced load on the server from unnecessary periodic block updates and will only cause updates when required (unlike timers in this case).

    This has been built with the FTB Mindcrack Pack in mind (but can be used with other modpacks so long as they contain the required mods) and as such, by default does not include Immibis' Tubestuff, necessary for the build. You will need to download and install from the link below;

Immibis' Tubestuff (NOTE: you also need Immibis Core): http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1001131-

I will hopefully have a world download within the next week.

    Comments/criticisms appreciated.

Beginning Alice back on 1.0 was exhilerating, and now that I have more experience with the mods, I hope to teach you guys while having some fun!
It was unfortunate that my previous series was stopped midway, but it shouldn't happen again.

I may include occasional guests via the server's TeamSpeak in the LP.

    Playlist for the Series: http://www.youtube.c...3764D32FECAAD35

    Please read for more info!

I will post later episodes in posts below, scroll down for later episodes (or head to my channel)!

    NEWS:

    It's back!

    Teamspeak Guests:

If you would like to be a guest via Teamspeak, head over to the SKCraft Forums Post for this Let's Play to find out how. (Also, you have to apply for whitelisting!)

    Feedback:

Your feedback really helps me adapt the LP to suit viewers. Also, it bumps me ;)

    Season 1

    Feedback:

Your feedback really helps me adapt the LP to suit viewers. Also, it bumps me ;)

Here is some feedback from players on the server:

sk89q has stated that this LP is a little too slow-paced, so in future episodes I will attempt to eliminate all boring parts.

Killerbeez77 has suggested that I do some redstone stuff. Of course! That is my main priority, I just like to be a bit more set up before beginning that, but I will try to add more redstone-orientated stuff in future, hopefully beginning episode 4.

Also, feel free to give feedback here. Comments/ideas/criticisms are appreciated.

Windmills are pretty op. Kinda like water mills from IC2, alone not very good... but when you start making areas of these, things kinda go out of hand. It's basically free power which can be converted to BC, no longer will you need forestry or transformers to do it. Cheaper and far more efficient way.

OP, if you don't take into the massive amounts of string required and replacement of blades. Sure, it can be automated, but so can biofuel production.

Not everyone shares your enthusiasm. RP2 frames were and are still op. People often talk about "magic" blocks ruining the game, like the quarry from BC. The frame is a perfect example of a block that is just way too powerful. It's not up there in the opness along with computercraft turtles, but it is not far away.

RP2 has a lot of nifty machines and tools that help the player but the frames... they really should go. Kinda reminds me of EE2 and condensers/collectors, basically they're just op and that is why people like them.

Tell me one instance where it is Frames themselves that are OP, not the block breakers attached to them, and I'll believe you.
Without the introduction of Frames, blockbreakers have become OP, and now with Frubes, even more so. This has been acknowledged and there will likely be a recipe change involving Tungsten. Personally though, I'd like to see some Blulectric requirements on them, in addition to a higher cost. In order to combat breaking concepts of current machines, hybrid frubes (Tubes inside of Frames that carry both Redstone Signal and Blulectic ones)

Well, they are OP for now, but Eloraam had previously stated that she intended to make Block Breakers a bit more expensive.

Perhaps requiring a diamond pick EACH and/or requiring copius amounts of Blutricity (only once of course hybrid Frubes (Tubes inside of Frames that carry both redstone signal and blulectric current) are implemented else risk severely breaking Frames machines).

i chose not to say it was RichardG because i think it was intended for the forgecraft channel. i posted here hoping to get answers too

He did say after he posted it something similar to 'oops, wrong channel', but you never know with RG. Probably some hidden troll message in there somewhere.

Well, as we all know, RP core is the base of Red Power. RP base may be some addition that eloraam has made. Or someone used photoshop.

Doubt it's photoshopped. It was posted in IRC by RichardG.

I'd go for it. I'm thinking of building my own flying base, and with or without wireless redstone it would be interesting to see how you've done this engine.

It's fairly similar to this design, in that I've modified the EG-Drive Mk6 to working without WR:CBE, and mounted a Computer System.
