There ist an Entry in the Bugtracker of Mojang. The Problem with despawning entitys ist already known but no solution for it.

Try not to cage them over Chunksborders.

posted a message on Can't recover com.mojang Folder in mobile

On Android after you set the storage location to external, use the Total Commander File Explorer.
There navigate to /Android/data and tab on "Installed Apps". There you can find a com.mojang folder.
But in this folder you only have read access (you can copy your worlds from there).
To do a restore of a world, i wrote a post here

    https://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/support/minecraft-bedrock-support/3131276-workaround-no-write-access-to-new-mcpe-1-18

posted a message on Workaround: no write access to new MCPE 1.18 / Android11 storage location / Backup and Restore your World

    Example Backup and Restore World:

Tools: File Explorer (Total Commander) and zip Tool (7Zip)

    !!! NO ROOT NEEDED !!!

For a backup just copy your world folder from

    "/Android/data/com.mojang.minecraftpe/files/games/com.mojang/minecraftWorlds/[yourworldfolder]"

to another location like your internal storage or an external sd-card.

    "---------------

In TotalCommander navigate to "/Android/data" and tab on "Installed Apps". From there you can navigate forward to "/com.mojang.minecraftpe/files/games/com.mojang/minecraftWorlds/[yourworldfolder]"

    "--------------

To restore this backup you first have to start minecraft and delete the world you'd like to restore.

Then take an app like 7Zip, start it and navigate into your world folder.

Mark all files and folders (level.dat, levelname.txt, world_icon.jpeg, db, ....) and add them to a zip file.

!!! Just take the files and folders inside your world folder and NOT the world folder itself !!!

Name the zip file with the exact name of your world (you can find it in levelname.txt).

After the file "yourworldname.zip" is created rename it to "yourworldname.mcworld".

Tab the ".mcworld" file and open it with minecraft.
Minecraft will import your world and you can play it again.

posted a message on Issue with hopper minecard filling other hopper minecard besides it (2 Block height difference)

    Hi all,

today I recognized a issue with my smelter.

Its build with a hopper mincard moving over rails on top filling the smelter with smelting items and a hopper minecard moving over hoppers on the back to fill it with coal etc.

Now if i fill the left top hopper minecard (see att.) with stuff it forwards it to its minecard on the right thats stands 2 blocks below it.

    Can smbdy confirm this?

posted a message on Villager NBT Data Copy with mcctoolchest pe

    Hi there,

because some of my villagers were disappeared because of a server crash i'd tried to find them in one of my backups.
I'm using mcctoolchest pe to load the world data.
In my livegame on the server i found the following entry (att. nbt_data01.png)

In the NBT data i can see the coords of them and i guess that these are my 29 Villager in my trading station (one is missing because of the server crash).

If i look into my backup i see 30 entrys (att. nbt_data_02.png). Also if i load the backup, there are 30 villagers in the trading station :-).

Now i copied all entrys from "VILLAGE_e5733d01-c866-4bac-b67a-0b8fa191d65_DWELLER/INFO/PLAYERS/POI" out of my backup in my live session, saved it and loaded it but the villager Nr. 30 is still not present. If i check the data in mcctooolchest pe again, the POI:30 data is still there but no villager ingame.
Does anybody have an idea, which data i have to copy, to get my villager out of my backup into my livegame?

    Thanks beforehand

    Best regards

    Denis

    Hi all,

i recognized that i didn't get a ingame message bubble if i receive an achievement. I can see my achievement in the settings of my profile. I know i had seen the achievement some time ago ingame. But that does not longer happen. Has smbdy an idea how to fix this?

I already installed the game new and created a new account.

posted a message on Ironfarm player distance in mcpe 1.16.40 singleplayer

    Ok guys i'm sorry.
i just read the german wiki about iron golems. In the english version is the following text included:

....and a player must be within 80 blocks of the village horizontally and within 44 blocks vertically....

That makes a ironfarm nearly useless in case that you always have to be in that small range.

posted a message on Ironfarm player distance in mcpe 1.16.40 singleplayer

    Hi all,

I play MCPE in Version 1.16.40 and have problems with the distance a player has to be away from the farm.
Because of the fact that i play in singleplayer mode, there is no loaded spawn chunk and the option to set the /tickingarea is only awaylable in creative mode.
After going into a lot of fails because of the distance, i build an iron farm 2 Chunks beside my base (simulation distance is set to 8 chunks) and placed it on the top of the world (Y=243 with an height of 10 Blocks).
If i stand in front of the farm on height 100 (the ground at my base) no golems are spawning. If i climb up to heigh ~178 the Golems start spawning.
I thought a chunk is loaded in 16x16 from heigh 0 up to 255. In that case my farm should spawn golems if i stand a lot of blocks under the Farm but in the same 16x16 area.
Can somebody tell me whats the mistake at this.
I really got sick of testing building one farm after the other with the fact, that its not working, if i build other things in the same chunkarea.

    Regards
    Denis
