Tekkit Down Under is a Australian based Tekkit Server. We wanted to bring the amazing Tekkit style of Minecraft to everyone, particularly our fellow Australians. Our server is open for anyone to join regardless of age or location. Our goal is to make a enjoyable server for everyone to play. It is on 24/7 and there is no whitelist so you are free to join. The server is hardcore survival with no griefing allowed but theft from unlocked chests is allowed aswell as PvP. We plan to add in creative worlds and hardcore grief worlds once we have the resources. The staff are fun and friendly and will try to assist you anyway they can.

Are you 100% sure you deleted meta-inf? I had the exact same problem last night (much to my embarresment). Maybe you should use something like MultiMC http://www.minecraft...dows-linux-mac/. It makes installing mods very simple.
Thank you so much yeah i was sure i deleted it and the launcher worked not sure what i was doing wrong because i did what i never had to do and followed guides on how to install but i had the same outcome but this installer worked wtf anyway thank you!!!
still does not work completely removed minecraft and reinstalled it placed into minecraft.jar modloader ran minecraft fine closed minecraft placed forge into minecraft.jar run minecraft and i get (updating minecraft then the loading bar and done loading down the bottom) and it never leaves that screen help me please!!!!!
i've been waiting all day to play on my favourite mod but none seems to be helping how do i get forge to work i dragged all the files into my minecraft.jar i have mod loader installed but i get a updating minecraft screen

yeah i did them in order I'm going to delete my whole folder and redownload the game now hopefully that works :/
