I only posted this to help people avoid having to make their own.. this took almost 3 hours for MCedit to generate.
edit- also, regarding the world generators.. This was my first attempt at setting up multiverse, I was just trying to keep it simple. And with 8k blocks squared I don't think we'll need any new flat chunks generated any time soon :tongue.gif:
Sorry for the redundancy but I just made this map using MCEdit. I recently decided to take the plunge and get MultiVerse working on my server so we can have a flat creative world.
I wanted an enormous flatgrass map and couldn't find one that really fit what I was looking for (I didn't look very hard:P). I am using this map on my server right now.
So here it is:
10 grass blocks tall, 4000 blocks in each direction. Enjoy! :biggrin.gif:
It is amazing how much these region files compress. This map is almost 1gig uncompressed but only about 15mb compressed. And yes, I did un-compress this zip to make sure everything zipped correctly.
Nice post AT, Kyoto is definitely coming along nicely.

We will be making some significant changes to the server over the next few days. We will be using the whitelist until everything is in proper working order. All members are whitelisted but even your access will be unpredictable. Please bear with us, this transition will be very worthwhile.
Also, we now have a twitter feed :smile.gif: subscribe for status updates, server restart notifications, etc. In the future we'll use it for many things community related.

This person offered some very enlightening opinions and observations about our server. As of right now we have some profound changes planned for the server over the next week or so.
To answer your question directly: No you can not be co-owner or admin. I explained in my post the staff position would NOT be a position of authority so your asking for C-O/OP indicates that you may not have read or understood the op. Regardless my search for staff is currently on hold.
If you want to help test things as we embark on this rebuild then I think something can be arranged.

Well dude I know it is definitely beneficial to take your time. I am setting up a server right now to be a RPG. Takes a ton of time and effort to make sure everything is right. I do wish you luck on finding the people you need though so keep with it and I will keep an eye out or your server when it comes up live. (sorry for the choppy talking. I'm not looking to fill specific positions. This is a game and as such I have found it's much better to find out what someone wants to do and how they want to help. So I will ask you.. what are your strengths? What have you mastered in terms of server administration and what would you like to learn more about?
It doesn't matter if its on the third page in a second, bumping will get you in trouble. Also, it shouldn't take you more than a month, if that, to start a server, no matter the type. I set up a smp mmorpg within a week. That includes all plugins, finding staff, and building 3 decent sized cities.

Also.. this is a game I play in my free time. I only discovered Minecraft 2 months ago so to have a functional world built that people can join and explore but not grief and a bunch of plugins all working is more than I set out to achieve in 2 months. I'm not some kid in his moms basement playing 48hrs per weekend. I'm an adult and I have a (more than) full time job.

My name is Nebenezer and I own AuthentiCity, a bukkit survival server. We have no whitelist and have gone to great lengths to prevent grief and identify the serious players from the bored and uninspired.
I need a couple people who are:
Experienced in MC server administration (no, being OP on your friends private home server does not count)
Experienced in economy based plugin configuration and/or use
Patience - Rome was not built in a day and neither will AuthentiCity. We're planning our grand opening for Spring/Summer of 2012. *We currently have only 10 slots. Before our grand opening we will have somewhere between 50 - 100*
Maturity - You will have to prove your abilities and sincerity. Saying you have experience is not enough, you'll still have to spend some time on the server to make sure you get the blessing of the other staff members and also to see if our server is even one you wish to be part of.
Passion for the game and plenty of time to play it - We need a couple people who are as (or nearly) obsessed with this game as I am.
I DO NOT need people who:
Are impatient - not willing to spend a little time proving you are as trustworthy as you say you are? Move along.
Misrepresent their experience level - I do not "need" help administrating the server.. but it is very time consuming and could use the help of a couple competent MC experts.
Want OP/mode 1/Staff title just because they like having authority - We have many members who have put a lot of time into this world. These staff positions will not be positions of great authority but will start off as staff assistance and will have to earn the respect of our citizens.
Are immature - no explanation necessary. We joke around and have fun but I have no time to tolerate immaturity.
Have anything less than a sincere love for this game - There are plenty of casual players out there, I need a couple people who love Minecraft and want to help build an awesome world.
Weekend warriors - There are also plenty of staffers out there in the MC world that do little more than have a presence in the server. I need a couple people who play A LOT and are willing and able to spend time helping config, tweak and test things. I DO NOT need any more people who log in a few hours a week and talk about what they might do.. I'm looking for DOOERS, not TALKERS.

No whitelist = anyone and everyone may join and explore. Most of us are in EST so it's busier from about 5pm - 3am EST.
