    Ok don't know why it didn't hit me sooner, for some reason I was thinking the levers were fixed in place. Thanks for the help with the repeaters, I even forgot those strengthen the wires.

    How this can be done, with the the examples of XOR gates I have seen are like side by side I need the 2 levers to be about 20 blocks apart.

    I'm trying to do I guess what would be a XOR gate, but not really sure. The idea is to have 2 levers for 18 pistons, 9 on each side for the draw bridge. I'm wanting to get a lever for inside the compound and outside as well so it can be opend and closed from each. Any help is welcome since I am stuck on this.

    After 30 mins of sailing I still have yet to hit another land mass. On a side note I was noticing light coming from the bottom of the ocean so I went down to check it out, seems it had lava, now obsidian, which made a nice little cave and would be a good starting point for a underwater city.
