The port to Fabric is done now with NP 1.2.0 features, available here.

Note: In order to show both Forge and Fabric releases in the Recent Files section of the CurseForge page, Fabric releases are listed as Beta releases. Going forward, only Alpha represents unfinished or untested releases.

This is the closest thing I'm aware of, but the blocks won't reappear: Fragile Glass & Thin Ice. It has a block called Weak Stone that falls like gravel on contact and boasts configs for making other blocks "fragile" too.

Sorry it's not quite what you need, but I felt compelled by dark and irresistible forces to respond to your post.

A workaround to Forge's event limitation was found in MC 1.7, so Name Pain 1.7.10 is now released with the NP 1.2.0 update: support for your character and improved color transitions.

You may need to increase your maximum memory allocation, if your system has the RAM to spare, by increasing your -Xmx value. For example if it is -Xmx1G, try -Xmx2G. The wiki has this tutorial section on how to use those parameters.

posted a message on Name Pain: Color Names by Health & Cosmetically [1.16.1 to 1.7.10]

By default, Name Pain gradually turns player & mob names red as they lose health. Color & transparency can be configured, including the "plate" behind the name. Configs can be used to hide name tags completely or recolor them without health-based changes.

    Steve digs down.

See more nameplates on the CurseForge gallery.

Most Forge versions from MC 1.7.10+ and Fabric versions from MC 1.14+ are supported. Many more options and features are planned.

posted a message on Quality Tools - Randomized Qualities for your tools, weapons, and armor!

After a little digging, I found lists for Vanilla and Potion Core attributes, and I noticed Potion Core's reach attribute was dropped in favor of Forge's block-only reach attribute.

Are there any other Forge attributes? I haven't yet found such a list. I'm trying to familiarize myself with all available attributes' descriptions, defaults, and ranges before customizing qualitytools/Qualities/*.json

Thanks for your time on this question and for these excellent mods.

EDIT: Despite the stale Forge PR about reachDistance affecting distant entities in addition to blocks, it looks like it already reaches entities in Quality Tools.

Yeah, you have to open up shaders.properties in the shaderpack zip file and set moon=false to true.

Ah shucks, now I see you've said this before. Worked like a charm, ty!

I can't see the vanilla moon when I turn off Shader Moon

    In ".minecraft/shaderpacks/Sildurs Vibrant Shaders v1.17 Medium.zip.txt" I have Moonshading=false and in ".minecraft/optionsof.txt" I have ofSunMoon:true

For debugging, I've removed resource packs and the only mod right now is OptiFine. The issue persists in Vibrant Shaders v1.17, v1.166, & 1.153 and Optifine 1.12.2 HD U D1 pre, C9, C8, & C7.

I can see the vanilla moon in Vibrant Shaders v1.141 (even with my other mods & resource pack) since there was no Shader Moon option back then, but it comes with old issues like particle glow/transparency against the sky so it's not ideal.

These shaders are gorgeous, so I'll use another mod to track the moon phases for now.

Here are my settings for good measure.

posted a message on Inventory Tweaks 1.61 (Jul 11)
hello again. I made the switch from 1.6.4 to 1.7.2.

now Sort on Pickup doesn't work in single player either. here are the rules I used to test:

    D bow
    A1-C9 stuff

I made a fresh instance of minecraft 1.7.2 with MultiMC 5 0.3.6, installed forge 10.12.1.1112, and added only InventoryTweaks-1.57-116.jar. I also tried InventoryTweaks-1.58-dev-128.jar.

as usual, sorting by hotkey works fine. but "sort on pickup" does nothing. in 1.6.4 this was working in single player. with an empty inventory, I would mine a dirt block, and it would land in A1. now in 1.7.2 the same action lands the dirt in D1.

the same happens in multiplayer (personal server, same forge & IT versions, nothing else), in both 1.6.4 and 1.7.2.

I'd like to hear from someone who's had success with "sort on pickup" in 1.7.2 or in multiplayer in general, to find the exact combo of versions or settings that work. I guess confirmation that this feature is broken would help too.

Most likely if you're unable to do it on a multiplayer server that isn't yours its because that server has nocheatplus.

    ...
Has anyone seen this setting work in multiplayer? In any version? What's the trick?

Thanks for the reply Drake but that is the first thing I ruled out :\

There's an option to let items auto-sort into your inventory upon pickup in the Inventory Tweaks menu.

I can't get this setting to work on multiplayer. I read some server mods can mess with IT, so I tried my own minimal setup:

To test, I hosted minecraftforge-universal-1.6.4-9.11.1.965-v164-pregradle with InventoryTweaks-MC1.6.2-1.56-b77 as the only mod on the server.

On the same machine, I ran those same versions of Forge and Inventory Tweaks on a client through MultiMC 5 0.3.5.

I turned "Sort on pickup" ON. I set up sorting rules I'm happy with. Sorting by hotkey works. Sorting on pickup works in single-player perfectly. But sorting on pickup in multiplayer follows vanilla behavior, filling my empty hotbar slots. Thanks Minecraft, but why would I want diamonds, etc. in my hand?

I've toyed with 1.7.2 versions but saw no improvement. I'd like to stick with 1.6.4 for now, for compatibility with other mods I'm enjoying. Has anyone seen this setting work in multiplayer? In any version? What's the trick?
