The background to your breaking animations must either be transparent or 50% gray. If it's darker, it will make the block darker and if its lighter, lighter. Thats probably your problem. :)

    Quote from OneWingedPie

If the breaking animation is white, then the block will glow, to "fix" it just make the breaking animation darker or actually make one, if not the. I'm not sure

    Thanks guys, this fixed it!

So I am working on my 64x texture pack Yundercraft, and the breaking animation makes the block glow. What is the cause of this and how do I fix it? I have am using Optifine instead of HDpatcher.

I don't know if it is just me, and my luck, but I haven't found a single village since the 1.3 update.

I have emerald, and I really want to experience the trading...but I just can't seem to find any type of village (desert or regular.)

I even traveled 3000 blocks away from my home once in search of one. I ended up getting lost, and never found one.

Anyone else? Please correct me if I am wrong.

Eh, I don't know. It seems like a stretch. A cool idea. Only one way to find out.

Now that's, what I call a epic texture pack! I really love the smooth look of it. And, I love the cartoon texture packs, so, this is more epic than an epic texture pack. Good job, and keep working on it!

Thanks a ton! I was going for this look, so I am glad you saw it for what I was intending it to be.

    Quote from Goodlyay

It seems like this would have done better as 32x or even 16x. There is not enough detail and too much space on each texture.

I have thought about this. However, I felt that if I went with 64X64 I could achieve a better looks (smoother.) Plus, I prefer the look of the tools etc. in 64x.

Someone elses work, just because it says [by rhodox] doesn't mean it is his, if you make a texture pack here: painterlypack.net

Then when you download it, boom there it says in your texture folders that it is [by rhodox] because he owns the site and he puts his name there so people will know I used his website.

I swear. It IS HIS WORK. He made every single texture, you just compiled it into a different variation. If you want to make a texture pack then make one and stop mooching off of other peoples work.

Photobucket is telling me that the pictures are down. You could try using Imgur, it's more reliable for the most part.

I may switch. They seem to be working fine now though. Thanks for the information!

Sorry if I came off a little rude. I didn't have much of a good day today. You can have the stone background look a little more mineral like to help the spots fit in a little more.

It's alright. Thanks for the constructive criticism, I can always use it!

The bumps are telling you that this texture pack has some new features, but yes, namone, if you want to say something about this pack and bump it a sometimes, make your post have a legitiment update on the pack. This one, I don't think, is an acception.

    ...And this.

Unless there is something new in the pack, please don't do it and say what is changed.

    Oh, alright...Sorry.

I will no longer do this unless there is a significant change to the texuture pack.

In response to the other posts:

Thanks for the feedback, I will tone down the...spotiness...of the smooth stone.
