Technically the worlds on PC aren't endless. They are crappin' huge. But at some point you get to the edge of a map, where everything is corrupted. Of course this is 1 million blocks away from spawn etc. (I have teleported there with a mod.) Needless to say it lagged the crap out of my computer.
So the computer version isn't TECHNICALLY infinite, same will probably go for the Xbox version. It will seem endless, but won't technically be endless.

Mar 15, 2012I am going to buy it because I can hardly run it on my PC. And this is a HUGE reason to buy it on the Xbox 360 for a lot of people, (or so I imagine.) When playing on a PC that lags when running Minecraft you can't enjoy as much as you could it it didn't lag.Posted in: MCX360: Discussion
Some may say, "Go buy a new computer" well, if I already have an Xbox why not just pay 20 bucks or so and get it on there...instead of spending $800 - $1000 for a new/decent computer.
My other reason is to play with my friends/siblings. I have 3 other siblings whom all love Minecraft. I honestly think it would be fun to all sit down on the coach with some food and just play Minecraft.
You must realize; just because you have a high-end/moderate gaming computer, doesn't mean everyone else does. So for you to say it is "useless" to buy it on the Xbox 360 is purely an assumption.

Ow, that hurt my feelings. Someone on the internet, who doesn't know me outside what I post in the Minecraft forums, doesn't like me. If I'm such an ass, why is my rep over 500?
My reps are over 9000!
(Sorry, I saw an opportunity and had to.)
OT: I don't mind the avatar items, I honestly don't purchase them because they do nothing for me really. If I have a couple extra Microsoft Points I might pick up the creeper though.
Mar 15, 2012namone posted a message on Girls love diamonds, but my minecraft sure doesnt!Yeah, I heard layer 12 is the best. One of my friends said he just goes in a straight line at layer 12, and he gets a good amount of diamonds. However, I still strip mine, the more you mine in different directions the more diamonds appear. I still don't think I have hit 25 diamonds. My problem is I am not patient enough. I suggest going to layer 12, have some stone/iron picks, and dig for a GOOD amount of time (strip mine preferably.) That is my suggestion...but I am never that great at finding diamonds so...Posted in: Survival Mode
