I started playing this world in 1.11. It's really nice. I spawned near the edge of forest by the village, and there were donkeys right there and sheep, so I was able to get a bed first thing. There are also cows not too far from the village. Everything you need is right there.
Edited to add that I haven't found diamonds yet, but I've been busy fencing in the village to protect the villagers.
If you use Amidst, you can find biomes in your worlds easily. If you look through the posts on this forum, you will find where to download it for yourself. I just looked at the map for your world and there is a Mesa biome in the neighborhood of -1024, 1024. I have attached the map here
I've been exploring in this world a bit. I found a zombie spawner at x: 391 z: -40 y: 57. I have also attached the Amidst map. There are several more igloos not too far from the spawn and the first one.
I created a world in 1.8 using naleta as my seed. I spawned under a tree near the ocean. Here is the view facing North:
East view
South view
West view, horses!
There are lots more horses of all colors to the west in the Sunflower plains. There are also sheep in the swampland to the NorthEast. As you can see from the Amidst map, it is a long way to the nearest villages, though.
I like this seed! I have been exploring the caves that are accessible from the openings outside the village. There are lots of coal and iron, and when you ride the waterfalls all the way down, there is an abandoned mineshaft. I found a skeleton spawner a little ways inside the abandoned mine.
I spawned looking down on a river with my back to the village. The caves are under the plains between my spawn point and the village.
The one that doesn't work is either not the right version or is not a mod at all. I would also advise you check that none of the things you got from there had viruses.
Liteloader.com seems fine for me so you should be able to get the mods from there: linky

I was hoping that Amidst had been updated to work with 1.18+. I'm sad to see that it doesn't work with the newer versions yet.

Where is the portal? There was a village right at the spawn point for me in 1.16 when I tried the seed.

I spawned on a hillside near a waterfall. There was snow on the top of the hill.
To my left, across the waterfall, I could see a Savannah village.
When I walked to my right, around the side of the hill, I saw a Desert village.
After entering the Desert village, I saw a Desert temple just a little farther on.
On my way to the Desert temple, I found an abandoned mineshaft open to the surface, just underneath the village!
This seems like an interesting world with plenty of resources and lots to explore.

When you are creating a new world, tap on the Advanced button in the upper right hand corner. You will then be able to put in a seed.

As I expected, I got the exact same island spawn point in 1.9.2 with no sign of horses and village.
