Snow is nice, but the rain is too concentrated and it can be very, very annoying.
I for one was looking forward to this feature but it quickly lost it's touch.
ok i was playing and it started raining... and to tell the truth at some points it gets annoying. so i had the idea to have a toggle like the difficulty for weather. that way those who find the weather annoying can turn it off.

seems like a very well thought out idea. i entirely approve. right now the nether is sorta useless and is interesting at best. this idea adds usefulness and character to the nether and i think it'd be a great add. notch should pay great attention to this post when working on the next update. congrats you have crated a suggestion that doesn't suck. most do.
Take down your server for a bit, grab the world you were playing on, then download MCEdit: viewtopic.php?t=15522 and use it to manually remove the chest.

Well, I know how to OP myself and so on, but im asking if I need to OP myself to be able to destroy blocks.
Because im using essentials and permissions.
in my smp server i spawned a locked chest thinking it was like a chest that i could lock so no one else could open it (i know, stupid me, right?) but now i realize what it really is and i want to get rid of it. when i try to take it out it just disappears and then comes back a few secs later
