    Yes and i can log onto the server with my ipv4 as per the guides but then the guide has me log out and then log in with my ip addres which I give to the other people playing with me and that ip does not open the server currently. Last night the same address worked and had all 3 of us playing together on my server.




    i figured it out. when my ipv4 address changed i needed to go into my router settings and adjust my port forwarding settings to the new ipv4. thank you all for the help. It's much appreciated.

    It logs in with the IPv4 address just fine but when i or anyone else tries to use my ip i get this


    Failed to connect to the server


    java.net.connectexception: Connection timed out: no further information

    so my ipv4 address changed. so i put that new value in the server.properties. and i was able to launch the game with that ipv4 address but then when i try to enter with my ip again it times out

    so that did allow the server to finish launching but when i tried to connect to the server I receive the get the timed out error message from mc
