The zombies spawning under the trapdoors is a bug that's been reported.
The mob spawning mechanics changed with the recent Village & Pillage update. Now it's a 'safe zone' 24(?) away from the player in every direction (spherical) where hostile mobs won't spawn. And from there, out to 52(?) blocks spherical where they can spawn. This made some mob grinders doable again since you could build them in the sky and have a platform far enough away for them to spawn in the farm, since it's the only area nearby to spawn.
They're all breakable. One thing that will help them last seemingly forever is to put Unbreaking III and Mending on them. I've done that with Iron armor and it lasted a very, very, long time. My Chain armor with those enchantments almost broke during an intense battle with a horde of Drowned. I've never seen my Diamond armor get even close to 1/3 of it's durability used up.
I think the potion effects only apply to the players and other mobs.
I have a villager with Efficiency 5 as a trade offer. I believe I had one with Sharpness 5 as well before the V&P update, but I'm not 100% certain. That one got used like, twice.
I assumed it was obvious that I was talking about 3rd party content, not the things in the store. My bad. Check out MCPEDL.COM, it's just one of many sites of it's kind. And about not having access to your game files on Windows 10, I think you might be misinformed
It's right there, and there's no settings preventing me from changing anything. I go to minecraft.net and download the vanilla resource and behavior packs. Then I can edit them myself, especially the fishing.json file
Regarding the combat, it's already awkward on mobile devices using the shield. I'm not sure how they could/would implement the sweeping edge and what have you onto a touch screen control.
Why does Bedrock Edition have everything from texturepacks, modpacks, shaders, to skins and custom maps, ONLY available to obtain via real life money through microtransactions?
This is not accurate. On my Windows 10 systems and my Android systems, I can download and install these for free from websites that host them. They come in the *.mcpack or *.mcworld file setup (essentially a renamed zip file). I imagine iOS users and XBOX users may have some work-around to get this accomplished, but it's really easy on the devices I have.
I am not a fan of the new combat system, and I'm glad it's not on Bedrock yet. I was never a pvp type, so for me it's just making it a little more different to kill mobs. I can deal with it when I have to. I do like the shield though, and I'm happy that it is on Bedrock.
The XBOX Live account is free, and is required to log in and play the game, Minecraft (Bedrock Edition). The game is purchased/downloaded through an account, but on that Windows log on, you can switch to any XBOX Live account. I do it frequently. Mostly because my son changed the gamertag on my main account, and I didn't want to pay to change it back. That's why I created a new one, and it's the one I use for Minecraft.
if the game is already on the PC, then Harry can create his own (if he doesn't have one already) XBOX Live account. He'll just have to use the XBOX Live app on Win10 to switch users to him and he can play with Tom (or Richard).
Have you tried the "long press" to see if that works? I haven't crafted anything in a while on my phone, but I think if you press and hold, it will do what you're looking for.

You don't hear the raid horn anywhere?

Here's a video detailing the spawn mechanics.

Edit: Added video for better Enderman Farm

Nope, no problems here.

I haven't dabbled much with command blocks in the Bedrock Edition, since the commands available are quite lacking.

I do it with my Android device with no problems. If iPhones are everything their worshipers claim they are, it also should be fairly simple.

You can put them in boats or minecarts. then transport them to where you want

Like this:
[05:05:29] * quasinoble places a barrel upright
See?
Or, I guess you could try doing it the old fashioned way: Jump up and aim down when you place it.

Edit: Just realized how old this thread is, oops.
