    36 square KM.

    36^2 = 1296 km x 1000 = 1 296 000 blocks.

That's not counting the Y variables. 3000 hours is 125 days of non-stop building. I don't think this is going to happen, to be honest.

I have a bit of advice for you - Do a little bit of research on forums, learn how to post images, create a decent thread layout that captures the eye.. Do something that isn't half-assed, even if it's not perfect at the very least it's to the best of your potential.

You'll get a good amount of clicks if you work on a project a little bit more than the average minecraft map.

You're probably going to need better organizing if you want this to actually work.

    Take it from experience.

Only problem I can see with this map is the manpower you need.

We're almost a 30-man team and still can't churn out what we want fast enough.

Good luck, I'll be keeping an eye out for this one.

Yes, we noticed it a while ago. :smile.gif: It is a good map.
I would, however like to make it clear that neither of us copied the other's ideas; we noticed them a while ago when we were working on our ideas for cutscenes, and saw that they had some undisclosed: "New way to tell stories, that's never been done in a Minecraft map before!" - Though I may be paraphrasing there - we then saw that they were looking for a voice actor, put two and two together, and pushed to announce ours first. But they are the first map to implement it, to the best of our and their knowledge, and they have done so well.
    Thanks,

    FIRST!

Just kidding, this looks a great map and when it's released I'll be sure to play it and rate it. Cheers - Hopefully we won't be rivals in the future :wink.gif:

This might seem harsh - But bumping a bad map time after time after time after time for a total of four months doesn't make it a good one.

Look I'm not trying to troll here - But they REALLY suck. I mean, you just recorded a lot of random, pixeled and laggy footage, glued them together and put some under-average music on them.

    Trailers? No.

Nooby Windows Movie Maker skills? Yes.

CAN YOU RECORD: I can use my handheld camera to record my computer screen. I hav this
HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN PLAYING: I've been playing for 5 years and I've helped Notch develop Minecraft. He is one of my close Xbox-playing and donut-eating friends.
WHEN CAN YOU PLAY EVERY DAY: I can all play day without any breaks. My mom brings me food in the basement so I don't have to get up to eat and I have a plenty supply of diapers for going to the toilet.
SKYPE: Skype is like a telephone right? My mom doesn't allow me - She says telephones suck out someones soul through his ear.

Really nothing new or exiting, and not that well executed, either. And I would suggest brushing up on your acting skills "Ahhh! Oh noo! ahhh! Ahhh! Oh nooooo!" gets very annoying after a while.

Also, when you have a circuitry problem, don't upload the Video to Youtube, just re-do the whole video.

    My rating? :Diamond: / :: :: :: :: :: :: :: :: ::

That is hardly "Hidden" redstone. I'm not into overly large and complicated redstone contraptions.. don't get me wrong, this is a decent project for a newbie!

    Check out this!

This is the whole door, no visible redstone wiring.

    Door when it's open

This is the door when stripped down from it's wool covering

The wiring (Very simple, although kind of hard to grasp for a new redstone user!)

The cool thing about this door is that it uses veritcal wiring. It's a great space saver!
