    Hello!!

Been a little MIA, but i'm back! Welcome to Chapter ten, were in the double digits now!

Chapter Ten- Building and Potion Preparing!

I have a couple of missions for today. One is going to be pretty easy, the other not so much. Here's my list of missions I want to complete today:

    1. Go to the Nether (hopefully without dying) and put the Nether Fortress to use. I need to obtain Blaze Rods to get my potions going.
    2. Build things!! What things you might ask? Well, keep reading to find out.

First thing is first, I need to actually have an area to store all my potions and ingredients. I happen to have already constructed a little setup for all my potion needs. It's quite a cosy little area, but I like it and think it's cute.

Here is where all the potion making magic shall happen. Now you are probably asking yourself... Hold on, you already have some potions on the shelves? Yes, yes I do. And I promise I am not a cheater. No, these potions came from something called 'treasure bags' that you can obtain in loot chests. They come from the Thuamcraft mod, and honestly potions are one of the best things to get from them. Saves you having to brew your own! Well.. not really, because I am still going to brew my own. But anyway, moving on.

Now, before I take my trip to the Nether, I feel as if I need to be a little more prepared. The last few times I have been in, I only went in to get some glowstone. This time, I'm dealing with a Nether Fortress. My iron armour is still holding up fine and I don't feel like upgrading it anyways. I happen to have obtained some fire resistance potions and healing potions from those treasure bags, so I will take those. I think, the only other thing I want to do before going is get at least my sword enchanted. But how you ask, I don't have an enchantment room... Well, that's where you are wrong.

I have been working on some things in the second story above my storage room. Originally, this room was only going to be used for extra storage. But I had the idea to also turn it into a room for my Enchantment table! Which I crafted using two of my precious diamonds. It's taken me a while to get all the bookshelves, but I now have enough there to get level 30 enchants.

You can see that I have added some extra storage up here too. I don't really need it just yet, and I still need to add more chests. But at least there is progress.

Considering I'm currently level 51, I think I can safely say, I have enough levels to get a level 30 enchantment on my diamond sword. So I chucked it into the table and hoped for the best. Came out with Unbreaking III and Knockback II. I quite pleased with the unbreaking. But I'm honestly not a fan of Knockback... I feel like not many people are. Oh well, at least this thing won't be breaking anytime soon.

Now it's time to put my big girl panties on and go into the Nether.... And not just that, but go to that Fortress next to my Portal and fight some Blazes.... The things we do to be able to brew potions. Alright, lets goooo....

This has been one hell of a Nether trip. I have not managed to die (yet) which I think is a miracle. It wasn't too hard to find a Blaze Spawner, it was just a bit of a mission getting there. I was attacked by several Wither Skeletons along the way, and also almost fell straight to my death into lava. After fighting off several Blazes, I have managed to obtain 4 Blaze Rods. Which is more than enough for me, I was only planning on making two Brewing Stands anyway.

Found some Nether Wart too! Very important component to potion making. Going to have to construct a Nether Wart farm somewhere. I think I'm done been in here. If I see one more Wither Skeleton or Ghast, I'm going to scream. Oh, speaking of Ghasts, the first one I shot down eariler with my bow gave me a Ghast Tear! I thank him kindly for that, because I need it! Right, let's get out of this Minecraft hell before I do end up falling to my death.

Managed to make it home safely. But of course, because luck is totally on my side when I stepped out of the Portal, the sun had gone down and I was greeted with 20 mobs... That was a lot of fun trying to fight them off and get home in one piece.

Yay! Don't my Brewing Stands look good? Really happy I have got that over and done with. I can relax a little bit now.

My only other building mission for today was to at least start on an enclosure for Luna. I don't think she is enjoying been in the Cow and Sheep pen.

Here's what her enclosure looks like so far. I have made it quite big, because I do intend to give her some friends at some point. Weather they are magical or just regualr minecraft horses is yet to be decided. You can probably tell that I'm going for a domeish shape. I really like the way they look, but it is going to require a shiz ton of glass...

Side note- Can we just take a look at how fabulous Luna looks in this diamond horse armour I found for her! I looted it out of one of the chests while I was in the Nether Fortress. I came out with some saddles too, which is awesome because I will be needing them.

Done! Hoping to have Luna's enclosure finished by Chapter Eleven so that I can get her away from those sheep and cows. Hope you enjoyed and thanks for stopping by!

    Hi!

Sorry for not posting too much this weekend, was pretty busy! But welcome to Chapter nine!

Chapter Nine- Chickens, Unicorns and Pumpkins. Oh My!

I want chickens. Yes, I think I want to get myself some chickens and start collecting things like eggs and feathers. I already know that I would like to build a chicken coop for them. Every single time I need chickens in my Minecraft worlds, I build chicken coops. I'm so exciting and creative I know. Well, better get building and also decide where exactly this chicken coop shall go.

After working at it for a little while, and having to chop down yet more of the nearby forest this is what I have. I chose to use Spruce planks for the roof because otherwise it would have been too much oak. But so far, I think it's pretty cute.

Tada!! This took me a couple of days in real life to complete. Mainly because I was also working on other things to do with my house. But this is the finished chicken coop in all it's chickeny glory... Now I just need some chickens to put in there. Conveniently, there happens to be a couple of them roaming about not far from my house. The other day, one of them was brave enough to come directly up to my front door... Which is what sparked my need for a chicken coop.

Right, Chickens- Check. Next on the to do list, is a Pumpkin Farm! Or Pumpkin Patch as I like to call it because it just sounds cuter.... I have a whole bunch of pumpkins in my kitchen that I have collected while out adventuring. I thought it would be best to put them to use and make a farm with them so I can have a endless supply.

I already know where I want to put this Pumpkin Patch. Right next to the chickens. It's a nice big area and its also the only other area I can really think of putting it right now, without having to do heaps of terrain editing.

And as if by magic, a Pumpkin Patch has appeared! Sorry, don't have any progress shots because I forgot to take some. *slaps self on hand* I'm pretty bad at this Journal thing... But I have planted my pumpkins and I'm hoping to have endless amounts of pumpkins now. I could live off pumpkin pie if I so choose to. Also, you may not be able to see it, because I took this picture from quite high up, but I promise there are pumpkins planted in there.

Pumpkin Patch- Check. Now what? Oh I know!! There is something I have been wanting to do for a while, but I just have been to occupied with other things in this world to get around to it. Now, I don't really have anywhere to put this... creature right now but I just don't want to wait any longer...

I have got myself a Unicorn!!!! This Ultimate Unicorn mod has been calling to me, asking me to tame one of it's magnificent creatures for a while now. Pretty much ever since I installed the mod. I had to do a little research first though, because I had no idea what you had to use to tame these Unicorns and if I could use regular saddles on them stuff like that. But, that is the beauty of Google. And thanks to Google, I was able to tame my first Unicorn! You have to use golden apples, and it's pretty much just like taming a normal Minecraft horse. Once you see the little hearts, it's yours!

Now, to get this beautiful Unicorn home... Home isn't actually to far away from where I am. It's just the whole getting home with the Unicorn in one piece that could be the issue.

As I was travelling home on my new pet, I came across this massive mountain, and thought it was too impressive to not take a picture of it. Also, check out that insane Lava thats coming down the side!

It took a little while, and I did almost die a couple of times to mobs because we did have to ride home in the dark. But we made it, both of us are alive and in one piece. I have my lovely new Unicorn inside my house with me right now, because I have yet to build some sort of enclosure for her. But, before we worry about enclosures, let's give this beauty a name!

Luna. I know it's not the most exciting of names. But it happens to be a name that I really love and I tend to use it on most of my Minecraft pets. Plus I feel like naming a Unicorn Luna is pretty perfect. So Luna it is!

I did a little bit of research on what kind of things I could equip Luna with, because when you ride her and press E, you get an inventory. And there are little slots that you can put gear in, and not just saddles and armour! I noticed that you can make Horseshoes, and went straight to CraftGuide to see what kinds you can make.

Found these amazing looking Horseshoes, which I believe are called Power Shoes or something like that. They are expensive, I did have to spend 3 of my precious diamonds on them, but it was worth it. Look how fabulous Luna looks in them!! I have yet to figure out if they give Luna any advantages!

Oh golly gosh, I'm really sorry Luna... I have decided that until I build her a proper enclosure, I'm going to keep her with my Cows and Sheep... Which I feel like is a little degrading. I just don't think I want her in my house. What if I leave my front door open accidentally and she gets out. I don't want that, so at least in here I know she is safe. I have promised her I will take her out as much as possible and ride her. I think when I head out on another adventure, I will be taking her with me.

Quite an exciting episode I feel. Got my first pet, and it's a pretty magical one! Thanks for stopping by!

    Hi Hi!!

    Welcome to Chapter Eight!

Chapter Eight- Magical Books and House Decor!

You know what I feel like doing today? Destroying that stupid little Hut that I quickly made when I first started this World. I have been wanting to get rid of it for ages, but I wanted to wait until I was properly settled in my new home. Now that I am, its time to destroy! *Evil cackle*

Didn't take long to tear down, but you are looking at the spot the Hut used to be in. I am still going to keep my Nether Portal where it is, purely because of the fact that there is a Nether Fortress right there when I get inside the Nether. I'm worried that if I move the portal, that's going to change... It's not very many blocks that I would need to move it, but still.. I don't really want to risk it.

Feels good to finally have that Hut gone. What was left inside the chests, I have moved to my actual home.

I noticed, that not far from my Nether Portal, there is one of these Liquid Etherium pools from Ars Magica. According to the Wiki, these pools are used to obtain the magical book called the Arcane Compendium. That's the book you need to get into the Ars Magica Mod. It contains a whole bunch of useful information. I'm not going to be starting with this mod for a little while yet, but I think I'm going to get the book now, so I have it for when I need it.

To obtain the book, you need to place a block down with an item frame on it and a normal book inside the item frame.

Ahhhh, so pretty! This is the first time I have ever done this, so this is exciting! As soon as you place the book in the item frame, the pool starts to turn the book into the Arcane Compendium. It doesn't take long, and bam! I have the book all ready for when I need it! So cool!

Speaking of magical books and just books in general, I need a place to put them. I have this massive empty space in my house that I have been trying to figure out what to decorate it with. Just decided, it would be a great place to keep books! I have crafted some bookshelves from Bibliocraft and decorated with a table and a lava lamp in between. The three books I have so far to place are the Thuamonomicon, Arcane Compendium and my Chocopedia that I got from a loot chest.

Bummer. Turns out, for whatever reason, you cannot place the Chocopedia inside these bookshelves. So I had an idea. I crafted a spruce wood case from BibiloCraft. These things are super cool, you can use them to display your special items. I thought it would make a great place to store my Chocopedia, and I have it sitting above my bookshelves.

I got a little too excited about how awesome these cases are, and crafted two more to display my diamonds and emeralds in. I keep them in my storage room, and I think it looks really cool!

While we are on the topic of decor, I decided to turn this little corner next to my front door into a little office space. I made the desk and seat from the BibiloCraft mod, and the computer is from Mr Crayfish Furniture. Used my favourite little trick with the upside down stairs to make shelves and put a flower pot, and this cool little stack of paper from decocraft on top. Oh and cannot forget that clock painting that came in this texture pack. I cannot get enough of it!

Good news!! I have finally finished my roof! It took a very long time because of how much clay and dye I had to collect. But this is the finished result! I think it looks quite cute and I really like it. I'm just glad I finally have a proper roof on my house and I don't have to worry about it anymore. I think the rest of my builds that need a roof on them, will just be simple wooden rooves! Because that took way too long :P

Now, I promised you I would take a picture of my animal farm because I totally forgot to show you in the previous chapter. Well, this is it. It's quite a similar style to my Wheat and Carrot farm. I have placed some glowstone in the floor for some decent lighting. The last thing I need is a Creeper spawning in there with my animals... Now you know why I make so many trips to the Nether for glowstone!

It's a long one! Hope you found it interesting and thanks for stopping by!

    Hellooooo!

Yay! I am finally back into my Journal! My silly computer is completely fixed now, and luckily I didn't lose anything, which means Missy Hollow 2.0 is fine! Very, very happy about that. The amount of anger and fustration that would have come out of me if Missy Hollow got deleted would have been insane... Especially since I'm not normally an angry person. Anyway, enough rambling. I present to you (finally) Chapter Seven!

Chapter Seven- Farms and Nether Nasties!

Got some work to do today. And by that, I mean that I have some Farms to build. Now, I don't know if anyone read my older journals, but in those I always pointed out how much I really do not like making Farms. But they are a very important part of Minecraft Survival, so it needs to be done. Going to start with an animal farm, because those I don't mind doing. I have already chosen a spot that I would like to place said animal farm. It's actually directly behind my house. I think I'm going to build something big enough to house sheep and cows. I will probably make a Chicken Coop further on, and I don't really care for Pigs.

Rounded up two sheep and two cows and placed them in my newly built animal farm. Now, fun fact.... I completely forgot to take a picture of what this new animal farm looks like. Because that's how great I am at this journal thing. Don't be mad at me though, because there will be a picture in Chapter 8. Now, you may be wondering... So if you don't have a wheat farm yet, where exactly did you get the wheat to con the animals into your enclosure? Well...

This is why I love Villages. I took as much as I could from the Village I found in a previous chapter and then left as quickly as I could before I felt too guilty. I also may have taken some of their carrots... Ahem.. I need to eat, I'm sorry OK.

Now that the animal farm is done and dusted, I need to make a farm for the wheat and carrots that I... erm burrowed from the Village. This is what my farm looks like so far. I quite like it. I was going to make a propr greenhouse, but decided that would be too much effort. I think I will save that idea for when I get around to starting the Magical Crops mod.

Tada! Here is my finished wheat and carrot farm. Overall, very happy with it. It looks pretty plain at the moment, so I think I'm going to add some sort of decoration to it soon. But now at least I have my own source of wheat and I don't need to burrow it from the Village!

On another note. I have decided to stick to the whole weird but kinda cute looking mushroom roof idea for my house. I have been spending a stupid amount of time collecting clay and turning it red and white so that I can make this roof. This is the progress I have made. So close to finishing it! I will soon finally have a proper roof on my house. I wasn't sure if I was going to like the way it looked with the whole house done like this, but it's growing on me!

Also, had to make another little trip to the good old Nether, because I was in need of more glowstone for my lighting situation in my house. So I prepared myself, and jumped in...

As soon as I came out, I was greeted by this lovely ghast. He actually scared the crap out of me, because I had my back to him when I first came in and he shot a fireball at me and gave me a heart attack. I managed to kill him with my bow, even though my aim is quite terrible. He didn't drop a ghast tear which I thought was quite rude.

After I had bravely adventured away from my Portal to collect a couple of stacks of glowstone, I was on my way back to the Portal to get the heck out of the Nether, because nobody likes been in here for too long, and I was greeted by this Wisp. These little shites are from Thuamcraft. And although they look pretty, they are not very friendly. I got into a right battle with this annoying little thing, and I am ashamed to admit that it almost killed me... Those little buggers hit hard...

Once I had come back from my rather traumatic trip to the Nether and had put everything I had collected away into my storage, I decided to finish putting together my little Furnace Room. I like how it looks and I think it's pretty much done. I'm not sure weather or not I should add more furnaces. I guess I could always do that if I ever need more later.

Couldn't really think of what to use as decoration in this room, so I just added some pink carpet, a broom from decocraft and a carpenters blocks flower pot that I dyed red and put a dandelion in. I really enjoy using stairs and placing them upside down to use as shelves. I think it's quite a good idea and looks cute :D

Feels good to finally have a new Chapter out. Keep your eyeballs peeled for the next one, and I am very happy to be back! Thanks for stopping by.

Hi Missy! Sorry it took so long to answer... In your minecraft files, there's some files in the config folder for Mo Creatures. If you go into the config folder, there should be a Mo Creatures folder in there with a couple of files...you can open those with a basic text editor like Notepad. If you open the one called MoCreatures it has all the creatures listed in there and for each creature there will be a line that says "Can Spawn=True" ....all you have to do is change that to false for any creatures you don't want. Now remember which ones you didn't want as there's one more file to change. In the same config folder, there should also be a folder for CustomSpawner. Inside there will be a folder for each of the different dimensions...the End, Nether, Overworld etc. These folders contain information on what creatures can spawn in each dimension. For example, my friends and I used to think it was a pain to go to to the Wyvern dimension so we set it so Wyverns would spawn in the overworld in Swamps. A biome we didn't visit very often, but now we had a reason to. Back to your configs...In each dimension folder there's another folder called "Creatures". Just open the DRZHARK file and turn off the same creatures you did before. I myself usually turn off stuff like the Werewolves, Silver Skeletons and MiniGolems.
Just play around with those files and you can get it customized how you like. I know it would be so much easier with a simple GUI where you could just click yes or no for each creature but this isn't bad. Once you have it set up, you don't have to go back in there.

I'm enjoying the jounal so far...I hope you get your computer up and running again soon!

OK, cool thank you for the help :D I'm hoping my computer will be back to normal soon too. I miss posting on here!

Not proper Journal Entry, just a quick notice!

    Hello!

Unfortunately, this is not going to be Chapter Seven of Missy Hollow 2.0, although I wish it was.

Missy Hollow the world and journal have been put on a slight hold because of some annoying computer issues I have just been having as of today. It is really bothering me that I cannot make a new Chapter because of this. I cannot even play Minecraft full stop right now. I'm hoping, whatever the issue is with my computer is fixable and I will be able to have it back with Missy Hollow 2.0 still there... I didn't make a backup of it... so if it does get deleted, it's gone. I know, you can all slap me in the face for that later.

I just thought I would notify everyone who reads this. Just to let people know, that I have not stopped this Journal... I just can't make chapters at the moment. I am typing this from my Laptop, which is not nearly good enough to run Minecraft... well it can run normal vanilla Minecraft OK, but I doubt it would be able to handle modded. REEALLYYYY sorry!! Hoping to have everything back to normal soon! (fingers crossed).

    Hello!

    Welcome to Chapter 6!

Chapter Six- The Adventure continues, and House Renovation!

Continuing from where I left off!

After processing the epicness of the Unicorn fight, I tried to figure out what I wanted to do next. I really should head back home, because my inventory is getting pretty full. But at the same time, I want to keep exploring. Decisions, decisions...

The sun finally came up as I was still trying to decide weather to head home or not. Looked around and spotted this cool looking dude. Another horse from the Ultimate Unicorn mod. He honestly, looks terrifying... I approached him with extreme caution and my diamond sword ready. He didn't want to attack me it seems like, so I took a quick snapshot and ran away... just to be safe. Also, take note of the Enderman totally photobombing this picture :P

Decided the need to adventure was just too real, so I kept heading south. Had to hop back in a boat and travel across some ocean, before I ran into another Plains Biome. I'm actually so glad I kept exploring, because I finally came across this!! The first Village I have found in my world, and it's HUGE! First thing I'm doing is setting a waypoint. I will have to come back here for sure and see what kind of trades these villagers have got.

But before I leave, I think I'm going to raid the Blacksmith hehehehehe....

Not far from the Village, I came across this unusual looking tree that I had never seen before.... As I got closer to it, my Walia mod told me it's a Tree Hollow from the Ultimate Unicorn mod... So many exciting new things to discover with this mod, my brain cannot take it.

I didn't touch it at all, I just took this picture and decided to come back to it at a later date. Since I am not sure of it's purpose just yet, I don't want to bother it. (Bother it? It's a tree for goodness sake... I'm losing my mind.)

Another day had passed in Minecraft by the time I was done with the Village, and finally decided to head home. By the time I got back, it was well dark. But before I went to sleep, I wanted to empty my inventory and check out all the exciting loot I had bought home. Here are the three things that I found most exciting:

Pegasus Feather- I promise no Pegasus were harmed. I found this feather on the ground next to a live Pegasus. Which is making me wonder if they shed their feathers like Chocobos do.

Spirit Tree Sapling- I did not find an actual Spirit Tree to obtain this sapling. (Otherwise there would obviously be pictures!) I found this in the loot chest at the Village Blacksmith! Thought I had better take it.

Nitor- Came across this in the Blacksmith too. It's from Thuamcraft and it looks valuable so I grabbed it. When I get into the mod, I'm sure it will come in handy.

Please do not pay attention to how bad my chests currently look. That's temporary, I promise.

Decided it was about time I got some interior decorating done. Even though I still have yet to put a roof on my house. But the fact that the house is so empty is driving me nuts. So, I present to you the Kitchen and Dining area! I really like how it turned out. Furniture is from a mix of Decocraft, Mr Crayfish Furniture and Carpenters Blocks. The Clock hanging above the dining table is actually a painting that came with this texture pack! I kind of freaked out, and decided that above the dining table was the perfect spot for it.

Here is the progress on the storage room. The shelves are from Bibilocraft. Thought they would be good to display some of my rare or cool looking items on! You will see, that there is a ladder. That goes up to the second storey part of my house and I am thinking of using that space as more storage too. Only if I end up needing it though.

Now, I have something I need some help on. As we all know, I need to put a roof on this house. But I have been so conflicted on what I want said roof to look like... Then I thought of something crazy/kinda cute. What if I made the roof look like the top of a mushroom? Since I live in a Biome that is surrounded by giant mushrooms. It made a lot of sense to me in my brain.

As a test, I applied this idea to the second story part of my house. I'm using red and white stained clay to achieve this, which I know is going to be a right pain in the backside and take a while, but I prefer the clay over wool. Thought I would get some opinions from people... Is it cute, or just plain stupid? I'm so indecisive... I don't know if I like it or not! Sooo, going to insert a poll in this journal, which will let you guys choose if you like it or not. Whichever has the most votes is what I will go with. Saves me having to spend years deciding myself!

Loooong post, but I hope you like it! If you would like, you can vote in the poll on weather or not you like the Mushroom roof idea and if I should keep it. Thanks for stopping by!

If you nametag one of the horses with a specific name, you'll get a special skin (and powers!) ;)

I'm glad you went with that mod! Just beware, you're going to need a massive stable if you try and breed all of the colors, or you're going to have to off the fails. And while you need the items from some of them, it's still not a good idea. :D

And man that house is looking amazing!

Edit- Oh, and make sure to turn kick damage off (and fire trails, and walk/kick destruction. Really most things that could hurt other horses) when you tame them!

Thank you for that info! I didn't know you could turn off certain things hahaha.

Ahhh...I see you went with the Unicorns mod. I was going to suggest Mo' Creatures...adds all sorts of mobs both good and bad, but the cool thing is that you can turn off any that you don't like...so you could add bunnies, foxes, fish, raccoons, Ostriches, Elephants and tons of others. The great thing about Mo' Creatures is that there's tons of animals to ride...you can ride Ostriches, Wooly Mammoths, regular elephants (the elephants you can build Howdah's for...the colorful carriages), Komodo Dragons (if you leave them on, as they're hostile) and different kinds of horses. You can have zebras, flaming horses (Nightmares), Bat horses, Black Pegasus, White Pegasus (obviously the Bat and Pegasus horses you can fly around on), Unicorns (which float when jumping off stuff...you could ride off those Savannah Hills and float to the ground on a Unicorn) and then the truly fun ones...Fairy Horses. The Fairy Horses can be dyed all the different colors and each one has a different wing pattern...some like butterflies, some like leaves, and some similar to bats. You can put crystal armor on them that changes color to accent the color of the fairy horse too.

There is also a Wyvern (similar to dragons) dimension that you can travel to, get Wyvern eggs which you hatch and soon you can be riding around on Wyverns too. Those also come in a very broad assortment of colors and sizes...smaller green Jungle Wyvern, smaller blue Sea Wyverns all the way up to the largest Red and Black Wyverns. All of these you can put armor and saddles on too.

A very fun mod and easily one of my favorites! I'll check out the Unicorns mod...looks pretty fun too. Keep up the updates on your journal!

    Hey Hey!

I bring you Chapter Five!! Before I start, I would just like to alert you that I have recently added a new Mod to my game. This mod was suggested by someone who reads this, and I just thought I would mention them. Thanks EsperofTropica for suggesting this to me :D The mod is called Ultimate Unicorn mod! I couldn't not install it, because unicorns and anything else mystical and magical is very much something I enjoy.

You may or may not see some of the magical creatures that are in this mod in this chapter :P

Chapter Five- Adventures and Magical Creatures!

Exciting new things have been added to the world of Missy Hollow! That's right, a new mod has been installed and I am very excited to discover what this mod has to offer! So because I am that excited about it, I thought I would give building my house a rest for a little bit and go out and find the exciting new creatures that are in my world thank you to the Ultimate Unicorn Mod!

But wait, before we go though, I have a couple of things to you that I have done with my house!

First thing is first, here is another progress shot. I don't really know if there is anything too different from the last screenshots I took. You can see that there is black and white checkered clay peeking out there. That is going to be the area I put my kitchen... Well at least I think it is, this may change because I am super indecisive.

You may also notice that a second story has been added at the back there. I did say I would be making this house two-storey. I am not sure if there will be any other parts of my house that are going to have a second storey added just yet, I'm still figuring that out. But other than that, I need to get a roof on this thing which I'm really not looking forward too. Side Note- Can you see the cheeky skeleton that has spawned? I decided to take this screenshot just when the sun was coming up. Had a little giggle to myself when I saw him there. Don't worry, he was taken care of.

Some furnishing has also been done! I have turned one of the smaller rooms into my bedroom! Now I can finally sleep here, and not have to worry about going back to my tiny hut every time I need a rest. It's very pink, I know. But I like it. The furniture is from a mixture of Decocraft, Carpenters Blocks and Mr Crayfish Furniture.

But enough about my house. That's all I have been talking about for the past couple of chapters. Let's get out and explore! I have emptied my inventory and just got the necessary items on me. Have had to kill off a few more cows for some steak, as I was running low. I think, to start this adventure, I'm going to start heading South and see where we end up.

I spent a whole Minecraft day travelling South. Wasn't too exciting as most of the trip was by boat. The biomes I did pass didn't have anything much to offer. Until I came across THIS. It's been a while since I have found an exciting Biome such as this one, this Savanna Plateu is absolutely insane! As you can see, the huge mountain goes up above cloud level, and it's pretty cool once you finally make it to the top and look down. It's Biomes like these that make adventuring that much more exciting for me :D

After staring at the Savanna Plateu for a little longer in amazement, I decided to continue my adventure. Since night had fallen upon the world, I had to start been pretty careful. I could have bought a bed with me and slept, but I wanted to keep it dangerous and exciting for once which I NEVER usually want to do.

Not long after leaving the Savanna Plateu, I finally found what I was looking for. Some awesome creatures from the Ultimate Unicorn Mod! The three in these pictures are all pretty cool. My favourite one had to be the one in the middle- The pegasus! (Obviously, I am such a girl). The flaming horse, which I think is called a Nightmare Horse (I could be wrong) was probably my least favourite. He scares me a little, and I notice that these horses leave a trail of flames where ever they go. Remind me to not bring one of those near my house...

After having a little photoshoot with those cool creatures, I walked a little bit further south and saw this. That right there is a Unicorn from this mod having a full on fight with a skeleton and charging that zombie and killing him! Excuse me? Now THAT is the kind of creature I need in my life as a pet. That's like.. 100 times better than a Wolf. Getting a Unicorn is now one of my top goals in this world. I will just have to do some research on how to tame them!

That mod is now one of my new favourites! I'm very excited to try and get myself a Unicorn. I want one as a Guard Unicorn. That just sounds bloody amazing. Well, thanks for stopping by!

I really like how your house is coming along. Can't wait to see how it turns out. That first 5x5 one you built really took me by surprise though. It looks so spaceful!

Oh n' if you don't want to kill blazes for blaze rods you can use a mod called More Crafting Recipes to make them from blaze powder. It lets you craft some other neat stuff as well such as lily pads outta seeds, mossy blocks using vines - and saddles!

Anyway, I've been meaning to ask what the font you use is called. It looks pretty neat. :D

I really like how you placed it above a flower in that Chocobo image. At first I thought it was a small splash of color,

Thank you! Hahaha, it does look like it has quite a bit of space, but it does feel pretty cramped after a while and I have run out places to put chests XD.

I will be sure to check out that Mod you have mentioned! Crafting Blaze rods? Wow that sounds amazing.
The font I use is called Playball. It's in the website Picmonkey.com which is what I use to edit my pictures for my journal :D

    Hi!

We have arrived at Chapter 4! I am honestly quite surprised I have come this far already...

Chapter Four- First Nether Visit and Spawners Galore!

I have been making slow and steady progress on my house... Very slow. Building in survival takes a bloody long time. I'm one of those people that usually ends up using creative to build my house. But I slapped myself on the hand, and told myself for this world... no Creative. No.. naughty. So far, its working fine. The only time I have to use to Creative is when I wanna take screenshots of my house or get a better view of something. (Do not look at me like that, I know you do it too.)

Here is my slow and steady progress. As you can see, flooring has finally been added to most of the house. In my my previous chapter, I believe I mentioned that I was tossing between Dark Oak, Spruce or Witchwood planks for the flooring. Turns out Dark Oak is not pleasant to one's eye in this texture pack (well at least my eyeballs didn't like it). I also decided against the Witchwood because I felt like it might be an overload of purple. I still plan on maybe using it as flooring for some sections of the house. So Spruce was the winner. Good old Spruce. I think I made the right choice.

I know, you are probably thinking... bloody hell, that is an oddly shaped house... Well, yes it is to match my odd personality.

I have finally gone ahead and crafted myself a beautiful diamond pick. I really didn't want to just yet, because I'm not exactly rolling in diamonds. But I have just decided last minute, that I want to make a quick trip to the Nether! Yes, first trip to the Nether is happening now. And I do mean quick. All I want from there at the moment is glowstone, because I love using it for lighting. So the plan is, get the glowstone and get out. Simple right?

But first, the ever so painful task of mining some obsidian to make a Nether Portal.

I didn't really want to dive down into some dark scary cave to find some obsidian. So I decided to use my brain and suddenly remembered that there are a couple of lava pools spotted around the Desert I found in a previous chapter. I had success finding one and turned it into obsidian. Now please give me a couple of years while I mine enough to make a Nether Portal... see you in the year 2019.

TADA! I have built my Nether Portal. I have for the time being. built it a little bit away from my sad little Hut. I will eventually be moving it over to my actual house when it's finished and there is a proper place for it to go.

Well, I have everything I need I think. I quickly crafted myself a bow so that I could use it against those pesky ghasts.... Got some food, building blocks, my brain intact... Right in we go!

What an absolute score!! Came out of my Nether Portal and found this directly in front of it!!! Damn, this has got to be one of the best Nether spawns I have had in a while. A fortress right there in front of my eyeballs.

I just realized that this might change when I move my Nether Portal over to my actual house... Damn it.. K maybe the Portal is staying where it is next to my Hut. I mean, I cannot risk moving it now that I know this is here. But we shall see.

I have successfully done what I said I wanted to do. Get some glowstone and then get out. It really wasn't hard, all I had to do was walk a little bit and I found a whole heap of glowstone hanging from the roof. I pillared myself up to it using netherrack and made sure I was safe from Ghasts before knocking as much of it as I could down. Have returned home with 2 full stacks and a stack of 25 glowstone dust. That was certainly a successful first trip. (Even though I was only in there for 2 minutes.)

On another note, I have been doing a fair bit of mining in between building my house. I wasn't really on the hunt for Spawners, but I managed to find a Skeleton one in a massive Mineshaft. I was pretty happy, and I have set a waypoint to it for when I want to come back to it and put it to use.

The loot that was inside the single chest was pretty cool. Found a sword and treasure bags and some other interesting looking things all from the Thaumcraft mod!

This was on a separate mining trip, but score! Found a Spider Spawner too! Like with the others, I have a waypoint set. The only loot that was exciting in the chests for this Spawner was the fact that there was a Thaumonomicon inside! This is the book you need to get started with the mod. It tells you all sorts of useful information. I was thinking that Thuamcraft was going to be the mod I start with once I get done with all the basic stuff in my world. Finding this book was a great start!

Done! Keep your eyeballs on the lookout for Chapter five and thanks for stopping by!

The house is looking really cute! You're a pretty good builder, and gosh that has to take a lot of logs.

Thanks :D Having to strip a whole forest down for this house XD
