Now it seems the game does not pause. I pressed start, like I always used to do, and switched channel for a few hours. Not only was I dead, probably by a zombie, but I had to start at the spawn point to continue, since it seems the game had autosaved while I was dead.
I hate having chiseled stone bricks in the game without being able to craft them. And since I don't have any jungle temple in the game I play, I assume I have to start a new game to get to use them.
And why did we get dyed clay in this update? I mean: Why clay and not stone? Clay isn't exactly the most usual building material, and it can even be used up completely. Are we supposed to start a new game every time we get an update? Well, I can just hope the deepest ocean floors are packed with clay, 'cause that's where I haven't searched yet.
Sometimes I wish there was a chest, exclusive to the console edition, which made it able to transfere items and materials between games. I wouldn't exactly call that unfair, since the PC basically has infinite resources of every kind...
Squids can actually spawn if you have enough water , I've seen it .
Like when I went mining in an underground cave with lots of waterfalls. And I suddenly saw a strange block that I couldn't remember having seen before, beside one of the waterfalls. I tried to mine it with the pickaxe... and suddenly it started to «swim»
If this is refering to the in-game text which appears on the loading screen, how can we tell if it's refering to the birds at all? It could be refering to the creeper for all I know. Just because there are two options doesn't make either one the right answer. Maybe it's refering to the behaviour of the villagers...?
Since I created my first anvil in this game I have always wondered: What use do one have for it in the game? Well, it can be used as an expensive piece of decoration, if you can afford the cost of 31 iron ingots to create it. And you can change the name of certain equipment, which I myself have yet to do.
I have still to see any further practical use. I understand that the main use is to repair equipment. But really... why would you spend 3 or 4 diamonds and several levels to repair your diamond sword when you get a brand new sword for just 2 diamonds and some wood? Is there any equipment at all that is cheaper to repair than to create? Or is there something I've missed about the anvil's true purpose?
I have problems throwing mine as well. I probably started without a stronghold anyway, since I know that I disabled the option to start with villagers in the world.
But never the less, on http://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Eye_of_Ender, the first point under the "Trivia" section, it says (as far as I understand) that if you throw an Eye of Ender in a world without a stronghold, it will lead you to the place where the stronghold would have generated. So as far as I can see, not getting the option of throwing an Eye of Ender has nothing to do with a missing stronghold. Unless this only applies to PC, of course...
Not gonna be horses? Possibly not in TU17, but as far as I know horses are planned to appear at some point. And since larger worlds are not possible on the Xbox, do you think horses would be planned released if they would make «intercity transport» too easy?
Also because the 360 keeps its chunks loaded so all redstone machines are kept running, crops keep grow, baby animals keep growing, even if your on the other side of the map, as far as im aware its only consoles that do this and doing so means the worlds have to be kept small (in comparison with pc/pe)
Then the question is: Will the Xbox One keep it's chunks loaded on the other side of the map with it's 36x larger worlds?

Is this a glitch following the last update?

Anyway, I'm apparently lucky enough to never having experienced this issue yet...
