Why are you interested in joining this server?: I've been looking a little bit for a good community that loves to play the game. I've gone through several public servers with some other friends ever since maybe 1.7.10, but once they stopped playing I also stopped playing. I've recently gotten back into the game and am not happy enough with creative, so I'm looking for a good survival experience. From what I've seen from streams this seems like a good community that I would be happy to be a part of.
Strengths (redstone, building, etc): I'm not the best redstoner, but I'm not bad either. Given a task I would eventually be able to figure it out. I think one of my favorite things to do in the game (once I'm set up, of course) is just go and be a kind of "hired help" on the server and assist other players. I do, however, really enjoy building. If I couldn't do anything else on the server I would build.
How many other servers have you been on and for how long? Will this be your primary server?: As previously mentioned, I used to play on other survival servers. I have one that I tried playing on recently but didn't know anyone so it wasn't fun for me. The only other one that I ever get on is a creative server, and even then I don't do much on there.
What other games do you enjoy playing?: Any game that I can play with my buds is a good game. This mainly includes Overwatch and free games such as Roblox or Town of Salem, but as long as there are people I am happy.

Hobbies, interests, etc. The more we know, the more information we have to base that decision off of. : And here comes the mess of words about me and my time commitments outside of Minecraft. I'm a decently creative person. Some of my passions include art and reading, but I also love messing around with the other end of the spectrum in science and engineering and technology. I'm in a robotics club at my school (MAJOR time commitment in the winter, might barely be able to log on for a solid 6 weeks straight because of this) and spend quite a bit of time working with that. When I'm not doing art or building something, I'm usually either playing with my dogs or playing a board game with neighbors or playing a video game (most often the video game). I'm currently in the market for a GPU so I can start playing more graphics-intensive games, and once I get it I might even start streaming a bit.
Before I submit this application, I just want to let you know that this "major time commitment" in the winter is no joke. Robotics and video games is basically my entire life. Come January, I spend 6 weeks straight building a robot with some of my best friends from school to compete with other teams around the country. And it's not just in January, it's year-round. I spend my Wednesdays working more on the robot and occasionally I'll take one of the bots out and show it off in public. Overall, the summer and the fall are when I would be able to play the most. I have no clue how hard my classes are going to be this year, but you can bet that I'll be on the server when I can if you whitelist me. Thank you for your consideration and your time.
