posted a message on Dye-able Iron! Create colored custom items for maps, PVP, cosmetics, and more!

    The Basics

As I have played Minecraft, I have always found customization to be fun. Even before anvils, I would enchant items, and come up with names and backstories for them. When anvils were introduced, it let us, the players, rename our items, to add a whole new layer of immersion, to feel like our weapons and tools mean something, and aren't just another tool we crafted. It lets us remember our greatest enchantments, and moments in Minecraft. In the newer updates you can even use command blocks to add custom lore and descriptions to your items, allowing for people like mapmakers to create custom tools, weapons, and armor with backstories. And with shields you can customize to your liking coming in 1.9, you can reach a whole new layer of immersion. But the real problem is, with tools and weapons you are limited to simply five colors. And while it may work, brown gray white yellow and blue will only get you so far. So that's why I am here to propose dye-able iron to Minecraft, to let us color iron tools armor and weapons and customize to our hearts desires!

TL;DR : Dye-able iron will let us color iron gear for new customization options.

    What do I need?

Dye-able iron would be survival friendly, and generally easy to use. requiring only five things.

    - Any piece of iron gear. This can include tools, weapons, and armor.

    - Dye of a color of your choosing.

    - A full cauldron.

    - A furnace.

    - Fuel that can burn at least 1 item.

    - (OPTIONAL!) A carpet to prevent a mess!

    How would it work?

If you want to dye a piece of iron gear, there are 3 easy steps.

    1. Dye your cauldron water

First off, you will need to place down a cauldron, and fill it with water. Next, you would throw your dye into the water, changing its color.

    2. Put your item into the cauldron

Next, you would take your gear and throw it into said cauldron, or maybe a GUI would come up.

After that, you would get the painted item itself, known as Wet [Item].

As long as an item with wet paint on it is in your inventory, it will chance the data value of any blocks under you, making a mess, which is why you will want a carpet!

    3. Dry your item with a furnace

After this, you want to put your wet item into a furnace, and smelt it. After this, it will come out as Painted [Item]. And voila! Your item is painted, colorful, and ready to be customized.

So that is my idea! I hope you enjoy it and would like to see something along the lines of this in the game as much as I do!

posted a message on EXODUS SEASON 2: AN INTERRUPTION IN SPACE [Voice-Acted] [Map version updated to V1.1.6!]

oooh my god that map was amazing

I cried when I had to pick who to kill

(I saved Benny he was cool)

I was wondering, how much does the ending change if you give R3D the weapon? I'm assuming 3 will be set up as a continuation, a revolution of sorts, so I was wondering how that would work.

Unless we get to play as a whole new character and end up killing the season 1 winner

Either way I am looking forwards to three!
