Hey, so about 2 months ago I created a realm with the 30 day trial. My 2 eldest son's have friends they missed due to lock-down so I thought a realm would be a great way for them to socialize. A month ago I successfully renewed the realm. Still fine. This month, I've spent around 7-10 days (not sure exactly) trying to renew the realm with no joy. I get as far as the modal that pops up saying it's processing the payment but then the modal disappears and nothing has changed. The realm is still out of time. I've tried changing the payment type. I've removed and replaced 2 payment options. Still nothing. Is there something else I can try? I have no idea how to actually contact them about this. I appreciate any help offered.
This thread is here to keep track of updates and help promote the mod. Currently available in 1.10.2/1.9.4 this mod is in active development. A version for 1.12.2 is getting close to release. This mod is free to download from curse. You can put this mod in your modpacks as long as its hosted on curse. This mod is found in several mod packs including Sky Factory 3.
yeah, i understand how people could be worried about that. The only reason i'm even seriously trying this is due to medical issues with my back and work. I'm already making mods, They have over 150k downloads between them. I stream the development regularly and i've made it very clear, it has to be all or nothing. I cant drop my job for a year to do this without minimum wage to replace it. Many people will see it as "please give me money and i'll make a mod". The way I am promoting it is fund me for a year and i'll build around 20 mods(which i've outlined in a blog post elsewhere), update existing mods, stream the whole process and sort my back out while doing it. My current estimates are that i've got a 1:10 chance of successfully funding this.
I will be doing a 12 hour stream over on beam to promote it. I have an established follower base over there that I want to show what i'm doing, hopefully it will help. So, if i am a scammer, i'll lose respect from a lot of people I consider friends. People at creeperhost, beam, youtubers and streamers, my followers on beam, it would be streamer/dev suicide to try and screw people over. Thats why the promo video i made was so painfully honest about the situation.
I still hope I can get a reply from the MCF mods about posting this so I know if i can promote. Again, i've not linked to anything for this reason ;). Oh, and i have a mod on FTB Unstable so if i were a scammer, that might get pulled :/
Hi guys, i'm attempting to run a campaign to fund a year of full time modding at minimum wage on a crowdfunding platform, but dont want to break any rules (hence no links, no mention of where etc.), so is it ok to post a message about the crowdfunding campaign or should i continue looking for other places?
step 1. download MDK zip file. I suggest working with the latest version of minecraft 1.10.2. As of writing, you want the MDK ending 2011.
step 2. extract contents of zip file into a folder. if you don't know how, google.
step 3. open a command prompt. if you don't know how, google.
step 4. navigate to your extracted folder. hopefully you named it something sane like firstmod in your documents folder so probably cd /Documents/firstmod
step 5. type the following command
gradlew setupDecompWorkspace eclipse
pay close attention to case. it matters.
step 6. if you don't already have it, install the latest version of eclipse. This can be found on eclipse.org.
step 7. open eclipse and when asked to open a workspace, navigate to /documents/firstmod/eclipse and load the workspace. you should now have a working build of forge you can use to build your first mod with an example mod already in the src folder.
having just found out my mod from modjam #4 is available to download in places other than where I post it, i'm in a bit of a quandry. I posted the mod with no Licence. I literally just uploaded it to github, compiled a version to link people to and then left it there(i've been busy). I dont think I can do a thing about getting my mod removed from these profiteering sites. I am NEVER releasing a mod again without a Licence. However, I feel it would be useful to post some information for you guys to do with what you want. The mod i made for modjam #4 is Alchemicraft.
Hi everyone, I thought i'd post a link here to the mod i'm developing at the moment. Its still in early development and much is going to change once i've cleaned up the original modjam 4 entry. The mod itself is based on Alchemy and i'm looking at putting out another updated release that should work quite nicely in a skyblock setting as well as a normal survival environment. Link and spotlights below with more info to follow when i've finished overhauling the mod. Thank you for reading and enjoy the mod.
