    Wow when I first saw this I thought that such a thing would ruin the game, after reading through it I think it looks like a great idea, just a suggestion you should do submarines to. Keep up the good work! :biggrin.gif:

    Please post a tutorial on how to make mobs because quite frankly as awesome as your mobs are, I want multiple aquatic mobs and I don't want to wait for anyone else to make them for me I'm rather impatient. :smile.gif:

    please for the love of god atleast put a layer of obsidian in there or atleast some kind of explosion proof block under the floor, and between walls, im having problems with creepers blowing the castle to bits

    you are freaking amazing! I've been wanting a mod like this for ages now thank you so much! :-D
    oh by the way I had an Idea for a similar concept except the castles entrance would be a portal kind of like the kind that takes you to the Nether, but you could have it built into the map out of adminium or something and it could take you to a whole other world that would consist primarily of a floating island with a bunch of forests, and outlying villages and in the middle would be a massive castle filled to the brim with trap doors that would lead to mob/lava filled rooms, and there would be a couple new mobs, and some old ones that would behave a bit differently, and in the middle of the castle would be a throne room where you could fight the king of the castle.

    I was just thinking that a flying castle that was controlled by mobs would be pretty cool. this castle would fly around the Minecraft world above every mountain, and inside would be a bunch of mobs that can only be found in that castle, and there would be tons of traps that would include everything from trap doors, to rooms that fill with lava. the thing that would make this journey worthwhile would be that the castle is filled with treasure. Below is a more in depth description of each aspect of the castle. also I think the walls should probably be 3 blocks thick with a layer of adminium to prevent anyone from just mining through all the rooms.


    1.)Castle Layout
    Upon landing on the floating island you would find that the castle is surrounded by a dense forest, and a few small villages. the castle will have a moat, and a rather tall wall with places for archers to shoot from and although I haven't thought of exactly how I would want the interior to look, but I do know that I definitely want there to be a throne room, various trap rooms that could contain anything from lava pools, to mobspawners that aren't affected by light, and there will defiantly be secret rooms that would be hidden behind paintings or something like that. and in one of these rooms I would put like a wall covered in signs that would tell the story of how in the world the castle got so messed up.

    2.)Mobs
    Every castle had to be built by somebody and in this case for whatever reason the occupants of this castle have all been long dead but they didn't stay that way, instead they became Skeletons, Zombies, and Zombie knights, Spider Jockeys, and a completely bad ass king. in addition to the undead occupants, there would be other mobs too, such as spiders, ogres, and dragons.

    Zombies -The regular zombies would be exactly like the ones on the ground and would probably be found most often around the outlying village (as if they were peasants before everyone died).

    Skeletons -The skeletons would, and act a bit different from their land bound counterparts,instead of running around in circle they would they would stay at a specific spot on the castle wall, and they will shoot arrows at the player, while remaining in the same spot until the player gets close, then it would begin normal skeleton behavior. Also I would like any skeletons guarding the castle wall to have an increased firing range to make it a bit more difficult to approach the fortress.

    Zombie Knights -Zombie Knights would have iron armor and would wield an iron sword, therefore it would have more hearts and a slightly higher attack power than regular zombies.

    Spider Jockey -Spider Jockeys will be no different in the castle than on the ground, they would be found mainly on the outskirts of the castle wondering through the village and forest looking for newbs to pwn. The wouldn't be nearly as uncommon as they are on the ground.

    The King -The king will only be found in the throne room, there will only be one king and he will be extremely powerful. His attacks would include shooting lightning from his hands for long range, and he would have a flaming sword that could set anyone it hits on fire for his melee attacks. if you actually manage to kill the king then he would defiantly have to drop something that would make the journey worth your while such as a teleportation mechanism that you can place, and when you right click on it it takes you to the outside of the castle.

    Dragon -There would be one dragon, it would be about twice as tall as the average mob, and 4-6 times longer excluding the tail. it would be found patrolling the castle grounds from the sky and would be able to breath fire. I have yet to think of anything that it could drop that would be usefully, maybe some type of food that would completely replenish your hearts.

    Ogre -Ogres will be about twice the size of a zombie and will be found wondering the forest, and in small rooms that may have some traps leading into it.

    Spiders -Spiders will behave exactly the same. and would spawn just about everywhere.


    3.)Location -The castle would be flying around the Minecraft world and would be very high up making it rather hard to get to, alternatively it could have some type of portal that would take you there.


    Obviously if this were to ever become a reality it probably wont happen any time soon but maybe if it gets enough support it would have a better chance. I'll try to post a video of how I think it should look, but I need to build it first so it might take some time. Tell me what you think! :smile.gif:

    Super Wool: (Sheep) When a mob runs into it, it bounces them back one block.
    Super Feathers: (Chicken) Used to make super arrows. ( Normal flint + Super Sticks + Super Feathers )

    Personally I think that the concept of "super" items wouldn't be very effective. your better off just making these mobs drop different items all together that can't be gotten any other way (perhaps a red dye or something like that).

    Great concept, I think that toning the size down a little would probably be a good idea but what if every now and then you found like a cave that had a massive full sized dragon in it in which eggs would be found. These "elder" dragons would be completely bad ass and would stop at nothing to get their eggs back, possibly even destroy shelters, thereby forcing the player to actually slay the dragon instead of running away, or making a cavern that the dragon cant fit in. also there should be medium sized, slightly more common dragons that guard some kind of treasure filled chests (probably filled with just redstone, diamonds, gold, and possibly some shiny and hard to get craftables). and last but not least there should be small "baby" dragons that will be seen roaming around the tops of mountains, and flying in the air. tell me what you think :smile.gif:

    I think that this would be a grand idea, although instead of the 1 in 100 chance I would suggest having a phantom diver and another scuba diver kinda thing (name it whatever you want) and said scuba-mob will have harpoons, also I would love to see pirates when I'm on my boat in the deep ocean.

    You should like make a semi aquatic seal, like one of those Antarctic ones, and it should spawn around holes in the ice of frozen oceans, so it can climb in and out of the water as it pleases, and it should drop like a fur that you can turn into a decorative carpet for your castle.

    This is by far one of my favorite mods ever, I look forward to seeing what you come up with for aquatic creatures. A few mobs I would like to see made are Alligators, Sharks, Whales, and of coarse Dragons. :smile.gif:
