It's a tier based system anyways, wooden tools have to be the weakest while diamonds the strongest. Each tier takes progressively longer to get to, like you said it's really easy to get from wood to stone. But it takes a tiny bit longer to get from stone to iron and a lot longer to get from iron to diamond.

Even so, I understand you logic. World War II for example, we had a economic boost, because we needed weapons. We went to war, we needed weapons, we needed factory, we needed labor. There we go, we now have all have jobs, and the economy is stable. You do have to remember today though, America has the highest military budget in the world. Our military, if we were to go to war with another powerful country, say China, we have so much weaponry already made and being made, there would be almost no impact on our economy. Another thing, who's to say that the war won't come to our soil and destroy say, New York and obliterate a HUGE part of our economy? But really, a war now against china would turn into a nuclear war and destroy both our countries. Did you also know that we have developmental plasma that are, though not fully stable, working. If we had a war with China, it would, in my opinion, go into the testing of plasma weapons which would be absolutely devastating. There are some MAJOR flaws in your plan.
The economic boon after World War II only happened because of the high need of factory jobs. Now that the whole process is stream-lined, less grunt work is needed and more specialized workers are. That's where the whole unemployed problem came into effect, no one has the appropriate skills to succeed in today's job market. =/
And anyone that does have these skills, say graduates right out of technical school or college, there are not enough jobs to go around.

Recessions happened before and they will happen again. We'll get out of it, and if not, hopefully our new overlords will be more careful with their decisions. Or we could jump ship and establish our own island nation and run it ourselves. Who's with me!?!?
Well your plans are going to waste if you choose not to share them with anyone... cutting off our imports is a terrible idea. Where do you think we get the materials to create our exports? This country would die if we don't get our precious oil from foreign nations, because we hardly produce enough to support ourselves.
If you really want to fix our economic problems, the US would have to switch to a communist way of thinking. Sucks, but capitalism is a bad market system to try and get everyone on the same page. Communism would put the government under one party, so no more long drawn out debates on what we should be doing instead of actually doing something. This will also put the industry in the government hands which would make it easier for the necessary changes to be made.
Though I highly doubt we'll ever do that, we'll have to find another way.
As with the OP, I think you are full of yourself. Plans sound great in your head because they are YOUR plans. Give them to someone else, like a real economist and they'll tear it apart.... if you really want to "save" the world, get your closest friends and start thinking. Plan out these ideas of your and handle every flaw that you can. Then submit it through some local form of government, like your representatives in congress or your governor, and see if they take interest in it. I doubt they will of course, considering it's coming from a 14 year old, but this is a democracy. Everyone is supposed to have a voice.

Ok im looking for a modder that will make me a mod installer. Recently i found Buildcraft and wanted to get it so i downloaded it and installed it like i would do with any other mod. I looked at like 20 videos read the instuctions like 100 times and STILL didnt work... Also i cant get Too many items to work either but i dragged and dropped all the files like usual. BTW the problem im getting isnt black screens when i go into the world nothing is working.

This my be your way of thinking, but people have a right to think differently. Why should this be illegal only because you think it's immoral and wrong? What if there are people (and there are) that think this is completely normal way of life? Why are their ways of living wrong and yours right? The answer is... it isn't.
I'm sure Microsoft landed some console exclusivity rights with Minecraft, which is a shame since I feel Sony is where it's going to be at next generation. I'm a PC player by heart, so it doesn't really matter to me.
I just burst out laughing when I read this. The governments of the world should implement this in their judiciary system (Would you like the standard jury based trial or deck it out in Quake 3?) Would be epic.
