Hate to ruin the great ideas on this thread, but Nintendo would most likely ruin the heart of Minecraft, that is it's community.
Nintendo has a TOS against users posting videos of their games on Youtube, there are very specific criteria the users have to fit not mentioning that they have to apply to Nintendo before uploading any video that contains their game in it.
Minecraft has grown so massive solely because of it's passionate and dedicated community (most of which are youtubers). Imo if Nintendo were to buy Minecraft, they would inadvertently tear this community up.
Nintendo severely inhibits their own growth among the community because of this and other old fashioned ideas about copyright. That does not stop me from loving Nintendo and buying their awesome games (SSB4 is amazing) but Nintendo would be on the very bottom of my list if Minecraft had not sold to Microsoft.
On a less serious note, it would be very cool if Nintendo added a Mario Galaxy-esque world with spherical gravity. I would also love if they incorporated some of Mario's music like the underworld theme while mining, etc.

-On right click with the sword, if an attack is blocked, attacker is set on fire
Ya, it's vanilla. William says he will have it up by "12:00" according to his timezone which I think would be in 3.5 hours.
It's hosted by one of his machines, so it's not 24/7. We did test it out yesterday, and there should be no reason why it won't work today (Unless william is busy or forgets)

How many people were interested in the dedicated server? I know the guy who owns MCProHosting, and I might get a little discount if you guys are interested. Depending on how much ram you guys want, we could go from $2.50 a month to about $20.00. The $20 is recommended for FTB and Tekkit. Just let me know what you guys think,

A dedicated server would be amazing! But I suggest not getting it until the mod is built to support all the ideas we've given.
I don't mean to sound pessimistic, but the mod william has described (created out of all our ideas) will take a lot of time and expertise to make, I'm doubting the possibility of it's creation.
Hey you try having a really bad computer. I can barly play minecraft without lag spikes. If you dont want to wait, go join another clan. And it is up, i dont know why it has been the same problem, i can play on it, but i again, cant find a way to get other people to join. Also, i never said it would be up mid April, and you dont need coding so you can go make your own sever.
I was wondering, how are you implementing all the ideas that were given to you? Are you creating a mod yourself? Or have you found a nice flexible RPG mod that is very customizable that will accommodate the suggestions?
You were active yesterday, could you please give us a status update as we wait?
