This map was quite popular when I released it 4 or 5 years ago, and has had around 100 000 downloads and lots of good reviews, but I thought it had lots of flaws and too many spelling mistakes, so 2 years ago I remade it again for 1.14.4, but now with Minecraft 1.17.1, Minecraft has added so many new blocks and items to the game, that I finally decided to update the map to the best version I could make with all the new things I have learnt from map making over the years, so here it is (1.17.1) and the vision I always had for the map from the first time creating the original. but could never do until now..

Hi toby42 I was just not using the b after the 1 as before I just used /summon minecraft:item_frame ~ ~ ~ {Invulnerable:1} but now it works only with a b after 1 example-
/summon minecraft:item_frame ~ ~ ~ {Invulnerable:1b} don't know if it was a bug or not or they changed it again but this works for now..

Anyone know if there Is a way to stop Wandering traders from spawning into your world in the latest snapshot.. Also had a problem with Title text and tellraw, but this issue has now been fixed.
Sorry for the late reply birbaroni, between working a job and trying to update my diamond sword map to 1.14, I just don't have the time at the moment, I have had quite a few people ask me if I wanted to make a map or help build on their server, but I had to say no as I am spread for time, and any I do get I like to work on updating my maps, I also live in Australia where thetime difference makes it hard for me to be on a server the same time as someone overseas.. But maybe down the track, who knows, sorry again
Thanks for telling me that, I don't know why that has happened I have set a player spawn point for every new area the player enters, if you want to continue you can use these coordinates to teleport back to that area /teleport @a -159 20 -21 I actually just played the map up to that point again after reading your comment, and did the same thing as you said, by quitting the map after talking to the parrot and it worked okay when I logged back in, but you know minecraft, it can have some weird glitches sometimes..
1.14 snapshot chest bug... I came across a strange bug when placing down a chest , when opening a chest the first time after placing it, it is fine, but when you open it the second time, it has no sound, and no matter how many times you break the chest and place another, in the same spot the sound does not work again, the chest also takes the name of whatever chest you placed there the first time, for example- I named a chest "old ruins chest" I placed it down in a new spot, I opened it once and it worked fine, then opened it again and it made no sound, so I broke the chest and replaced it with a normal unnamed chest in the same spot and when I opened it there was still no sound and the name of the unnamed chest had changed to old ruins chest, very strange indeed, I hope they fix this bug soon, as it puts my map on hold until they do..

Yeh, it is the same, I never used the 1b in the past only invulnerable:1, It could have been a bug as I was in a snapshot at that time though..

You receive a strange letter from an unknown person..
The letter reads
To you the greatest explorer I've been told,
please come to these lands of wonder and gold...
Come to these lands so far away, for there is a
a sacred pond where the fairies stray..
I have been searching for this sacred land for such a while,
I have grown old now and rarely smile...
The name is called Willow Valley, and it has taken my whole life,
but I am close now, and want to know where it lies...
So follow the map from within this letter, when you are here,
we will find it together..
