    i really really want to make more mod-specific resource packs but i dont play modded minecraft myself. ive already done biomes o plenty and aether legacy but those are the only ones i really know of (and aether was more of a personal one).     posted a message on clock texture in bedrock edition not showing up

    hello! i'm trying to adapt my java edition resource pack to bedrock edition and basically everything is going fine except for a few item textures. everything else is at least presentable, except for the clock. it doesn't want to use the given texture no matter what I do. I checked the items.json file to see what texture it was drawing from and nothing. i have individual frames for the clock (like in java) and nothing. i've tried renaming the files as well, deleting the underscores and the zeroes to see if literally anything will work. i have no reference point because it's much harder to download bedrock edition packs without paying money. please on god i just want this clock to work. thank you so freakin much

    So I'm trying to make a resource pack that has biomes o plenty support, but every time i try to load the world to get a look at the textures in context, it crashes. The launcher as well as the game output have error messages, but they're both different, and I don't actually know what they mean. I've also spent a lot of time looking for a thread that mentions "exit code -1", but all I get is something for "exit code 1" instead (unless the - is actually just a hyphen and not a minus sign ://). In any case, I'd really like to play the mod? thanks!


    Just to clarify- the game loads, i can make a world, i can press play on the world, it opens all the way, and then it crashes. A copy of the world is saved, but is inaccessible.

    i'm trying to make my resource pack compatible with 12.2 again due to my wanting to get biomes o plenty and the aether mod working on it. i'm sure yall know about the massive file renaming that took place between 12.2 and 13.2, and as such i had to fix all that to go forwards as well as backwards. i have all of the blocks and entities fixed, but i can't seem to get water, lava, or the nether portal graphics to work correctly. They work fine in 13.2 but not in 12.2, which is where i need them. i've cross-referenced the original assets files so many times my head's spun. the textures and mcmeta files are fine, and there's no files referencing those three things in sight to get any .json code from. it's a little frustrating tbh but i believe there Is A Solution

    i've got a lot of pictures of what the liquids and portal look like currently as well as what they should look like. any help would be greatly appreciated!!

    all right so im trying to work ahead on my resource pack for when 1.14 inevitably comes out and i'm done with nearly everything except the stone stairs. they keep displaying the "missing texture" ... texture instead of regular smooth stone. with the 1.13 update some stuff got moved around (filenames, ids, etc) and so i eventually sussed out that the .json file for the stone stairs was trying to look for the stone texture in "blocks" and not "block" (because that got changed. the model works perfectly fine and is textured in item form but not block form. if i drop the stairs on the ground, it's fine, but when i place them it goes haywire. i just want my stairs please


    note: i definitely changed the block model .json file, and not the item one
