posted a message on Custom NPCs

Guys i have a question, its the natural spawns
So... spawn weight, higher means it spawns more of the npc or less?
Cause with other mods, sometimes lower means higher chance, and then there's times when you set it to higher and it becomes more rare
I just want to know which way it works here on custom npcs, if i set it low enough does that mean the npcs spawn more commonly?

Game crashes randomly, seems to be caused by the evolved enderman, sometimes it actually works but sometimes this happens:

EDIT: Further testing and it happens on almost all planets randomly too

    Quote from Pandolen»

Would be interesting if locked chests were made unbreakable, otherwise I don't think there would be much point. Then there would still be the issue of forgetting the combination, in which case, bad news.

Maybe there could be a different way of doing it, say, a locked chest that only responds to the person that placed the lock, kinda like a dog or cat will only respond to a sit command by the player that tamed it.

But then... from another perspective, regardless of what type of lock is used, it might be a bit annoying if other players lock you out of your own chest.

A way to "fix" other players from locking your chests would be to make the chest store your player id/name
Its kinda hard to explain but it would work like this:

Player named toby places a chest, the chest stores the name of the player
Anyone can open the chest, because a lock has not been yet set on the chest
A player named vicky tries to place a lock on the chest, but it does not work because it has the name "toby" stored
Toby then places a lock on the chest, and now it only opens to him

posted a message on Aether II doesn't load my modded world

Post the logs, it tells you why its not loading

You might have to change the stuff in the launcher first
Go to settings, Activate keep Minecraft launcher open AND show log output. when the minecraft output open, set lines shown to All

    So yeah

    Its not a ram issue

It is a ram issue, its running out of heapspace

You edit the profile and add these:
    -Xmx3G -Xms3G
(Those are for 3GB ram, incase your computer has 4GB, always leave atleast 1 or 2GB free for the rest of the system)

posted a message on Modded server stops itself while booting if provided with ipv4 adress

Its actually coroAI that is causing the issue, as stated on:

    [STDERR/CoroAI]: [java.lang.Throwable$WrappedPrintStream:println:-1]: at CoroUtil.forge.CoroAI.writeOutData(CoroAI.java:103)

EDIT: Also you likely have client-side mods in your servers-mods directory.

posted a message on crashes upon opening a world

You need to allocate more memory both to the game and the java heapspace.

    These launch commands help:

    -Xmx4G -Xms4G

Now before you do this, be sure to have minimum 4GB of ram or the game will refuse to launch,

posted a message on Dragon Mounts r46 [WIP]
    Quote from sealflame»

Hello, first of all i would like to say this is a wonderful mod. But I have an issue, i'm playing in a mod pack and for whatever reason I can't make my dragon stand, therefor they cant protect me or breed. I was thinking it might be because of one of the other mods used a bone for something else, but that is just a guess. Do you know if there is a way to force the dragon up permanently?(Note: I'm playing 1.7.10) Thanks, and again I LOVE this mod.

You could probably punch it or dump some water, try breaking the blocks underneath it or something that moves it.
