Honestly, this is one of the best mods i've seen. I've been looking for a mod like this, i always liked the defualt minecraft maps, but i've always wished for a way to mark things on it, And this is it. It's amazing. Bravo. Will be downloading soon after I'm done browsing around for other shenanigans to use this mod with.
You can already turn off stronghold villages
new sound effects, Big whoop. I don't really like the new hurt sound, but its a sound effect, not a big deal.
This is minecraft, You don't have to do things.
Don't like the nether? don't go there.
Don't like enchanting? Don't make enchanting table.
Don't like strongholds? turn them off.
Don't like endermen/cave spiders? Stop being a *****.
Also stop saying "Us" I've been playing since alpha too and personally I like these new changes
The point im tryna make is that Notch didn't completely turn the game into a wreck.
I just looked at MCnostalgia and saw that it's probably used more for staying with mods you like.
I'm trying to promote something you can customize. keep the good-new stuff while tossing the bad-new stuff.

1. There was only 1 minecon (Why don't minecon be in Australia because its always in america.. )
2. Your grammer is horrible.
3. Not going to happen, they know having it in america would be more profitable so it's obviously going to be there (if there is another one) (Or it might be in europe)
This idea has been suggested 11.8567 times in the last day. Please stop suggesting this. Espicially since all the ideas are almost excactly the same and all half ass written.
1. Yes i know of 2, risugamys craft book (can't remember how to spell his name, it's the guy who made modloader) made one and somone else did
2. "alt tabing out to look up recipes you don't use very often kinda sucks." Not really, somtimes if you have mods installed, otherwise it only takes like 1 minute. I have most recipies memorized (but then again i've been playing since alpha)
