gigaman, everyone can tell that that is a strawman/mockery.
Mother of ****, you can tell all that from the two words the guy's said?
Strawman – A straw man is a fallacy in which an irrelevant topic is presented in order to divert attention from the original issue. (Wikipedia)
It doesn’t really have to be long, but I think he’s stretching the definition a bit.

I would prefer the game not to have hacks, but I use them because everyone else does, and would rather not be at a disadvantage. My ideal solution would be hacks enabled or disabled on a per-server basis, like what Notch is working on.
I wonder what the poll would look like if you only took results from people who have been in the community since multiplayer was released and before, as they are the only ones who fully understand the impact hacks have made on the enjoyability of the game.
la la give me attention moderators are bad **** da police laa
fixed it
Honestly? Come on, admins and moderators should set an example. Your authority provides an unfair sway of opinions if you don’t stay impartial and unbiased.
Once Notch implements hack prevention in creative mode, all this will be moot. We’re really only arguing over what will happen for the next few weeks. As of now, the hack client is so freely distributed that it would not make a difference if the World of Minecraft guys take it down or not.
Though I would like to think I am unbiased, I want to say that I remember minecraft being more fun before anyone could fly. My ideal solution would be no hacks for anyone.
I’ll admin, my username is the same as it is here. People can go ahead and attack me personally, I’d rather resolve conflicts than just ban someone. I will also correct people’s spelling and warn them not to use profanity :smile.gif:
I also admin on Redshift’s Oceanbuild, so I’ll be on when I can.
Name: Gavin Username: Meizlizard Email:[email protected] Servers: I admin on Redshift’s Ocean Build. I’m working on releasing a few servers with my brother, but port forwarding is being a pain. In game OP hours: Unfathomable. I’ve dropped off a little bit because my computer tends not to run huge servers well when they are too crowded, but I can easily put 6 hours in on a fresh server. Reference: Exsockpuppet, Redshift, LucasAnderson (Oceanbuild), Visiiri (Not sure, but he opped me on his survival prep map)
