Suppose there's Smoke Particle A (normal)and Smoke Particle B. Smoke Particle B looks exactly like Smoke Particle A, but is exclusive to squids. Smoke Particle B creates a paint-like black splat on your screen. This would allow smoke particles that are ejected out of squids to create a splat effect on your screen, as if they were squirting ink in your face.
It has a 1% chance of spawning, so you will probably only encounter them a few times. I don't see any issues with this idea and how it works.

Normal spider jockeys are fine, because they don't poison you and shoot arrows. However, baby skeletons could ride pigs. I wouldn't mind seeing that, since it's perfectly non-OP.

I think marble should be closer to the top of mountains, while still on mountains like limestone for, (once again), a level of realism that won't hurt.
OK, if you got this idea from twitch streaming, they only added that so people can stream easier. If you want to use facebook and twitter, go to the website. Use your phone, press the windows key, do whatever, just don't drag that crap into minecraft.

You know, I think this would be neat in the nether as a 'nether biome' of sorts.

Yeah, it often seems like they didn't really put much work into squid AI. Sure, why not, add a little liveliness to the ocean and squids.
