The Enchantment doesn't need a 'forged' or more powerful variation of itself. The original Enchantment Table would become redundant and less used because theres now a more powerful version of it. Also, enchantments that reach up to IV and V are already powerful enough. Having it go even higher is OP.
I'm a bit on the fence on this one. In certain rare cases, a banner to promote visibility can be a good thing. This is a bit of a nuanced thing, simply because a suggestion gets 3 or 4 no supports doesn't mean it's bad period. Sometimes it just lacks coverage and the first to respond are those that have no real opinion on it.
But, if it gets to an aggravated case like you're showing "34 nos" then it really is a waste.
With that said, I'd say that banners have a window. Either create one early in the life of the thread, or create one when you have 10+ supporters and need to gain more coverage.
I was specifically referring to suggestions that had "no supports", and a lot of them. If it only has 3 or 4 "no supports", then it may still have a chance as you pointed out.
Well it takes 24 iron ingots to make Iron Armor and 24 chains to make Chain Armor. 4 iron ingots makes 8 chains which means it takes half the amount of iron to make Chain Armor so even though it has half the durability it takes half the iron so it doesn't matter.

I suggest a different recipe. Maybe not stone, but a different recipe using a resource cheaper than iron. I am aware that this yields more armor, but honestly, if you had enough iron to make enough chain for a full set of this stuff, you would just spend it on iron armor.

Noonononono. This is suggestions for vanilla minecraft. You're pretty much saying they can use a mod to fix it. Plus, your idea shouldn't have that issue to begin with! If you can't find a solution that can be done in vanilla minecraft in a practical manner, don't use this as a last ditch attempt.

It's just like bumping your bad threads, you're only bringing more negative attention to your thread!
