    Quote from skilzbro187447»

So Yesterday I Made A Suggestion On "Living Wind" And I Thought There Should Be Something Like Living Wind But In The Nether And So This Suggestion Thread Was Born.

    Living Flame (Mob)

    10 Hearts

    2.5 Hearts Of Damage

    Immune To Fire

    Sets Players On Fire

    Drops 0-3 Blaze Powder

    Can Fly

    Spawns In The Nether.

    I Appreciate Your Feedback :)

We basically already have this in the form of the blaze.

No support; kind of already in the game.

    Quote from GDog_0»

First of all, before I say anything, I am not sure if a similar thread has been created in the last month, so don't go saying I meant for this to be redundant or something. That's why you use the search function. I have always wanted to have a slab for most blocks (NOT leaves). It would be neat to have like grass slabs (but then, maybe this would mess up generation) and glass slabs and all of that, but ONLY in the building blocks section You need to be more specific than that., because I don't want to have ridiculous slabs such as anvil slabs or something else ridiculous. But having slabs shouldn't change their physics, so like glass slabs will float while sand slabs would fall That's logical.. But if these slabs will ever have anything to do with generation, make sure it is a different world type (under more options I mean World type: realistic) Well do you want them to do with generation or not? You need to be specific and not say "if".. Also, don't say this is really bad because this is my first suggestion that I know of. People aren't going to not criticize you because you're new to suggesting. If you had read the pinned threads, you would know this.

    Responses in bold.

This would effectively ruin diamond mining. After only 25 minutes, you are bound to have the effect. Not to mention if you're unlucky, you may get it right off the bat. Also, during a storm, this isn't very helpful, it just makes it worst. Also, early on, if you're being chased by some mobs at night, this would just make it worse.

    No support; only downsides.

As for the OP: I personally think the stereotyping is warranted, as the fanbase skews young. This is inevitable, because the more popular a game is the younger the fanbase will be. Why do you think CoD gets such a bad rap?

I don't even play CoD because everybody I know plays it. Just to give you a perspective, I'm still in elementary school, so you can kind of imagine who "everybody I know" is.

I can agree on the fact that once a fanbase expands to the point where it's a game everybody has at least heard of, the rating basically becomes invisible, and very young people begin playing it. You wonder why GTA is popular with people who AREN'T 18+? There's your answer.

I dunno maybe because it's still relevant? Age isn't a factor here. The idea has not been implemented yet.

Yeah, but you aren't supposed to necro old threads, unless you're "reviving" it because it was an extraordinarily good idea that needs to be introduced to the modern forum community.

They've made zombie AI as good as it can be while still allowing you to call them stupid. Any further and they would be smarter than a zombie should be.

No support; zombies aren't meant to be smart.

Thank you for all of the support! It means a lot, and hopefully it will be enough to get this into the game!

Well don't set your hopes too high on that one, because very, VERY few things on this forum actually make it into the game.

I cannot tell you how many times I've tried to make a song with a note block but I can't because of how hard it is.

Actually, more like 2, but that's because I don't use them a lot.

    Anyways,

Support; can make note blocks easier to use.

Pretty interesting. But badprenup has a point, it wouldn't be very nice to be mining and have a dungeon pop up in your face.

I'm kind of on the fence about this one, not sure whether to support or not. It has just as many pros as it does cons from the way I see it.

    No position; not fully sure.

posted a message on slimes should have stickiness

I'm not fully sure about this idea.

    I'll break it down.

Part 1: No support. Slime balls are farmable enough as is, especially considering you get 4x drops per big slime.

Part 2: Interesting, and useful. I don't like knockback in most cases, it allows enemies to get away in PvP. This effectively takes that away. I'll have to say support on that one.

Partial support; part 2 = yeah, sure, why not? part = 1 no.

My suggestion; Remove part 1, and instead, change it to a water dissolving mechanic.

    Quote from Brandork»

Thanks, I was thinking along the lines of little stories about minecraft. Maybe a poem about creepers, or a story about an enderman who is short and made fun of. Idk, I'm not very creative, but something like that.

I don't really want to know the stories, just specify the topics.

Hello ^_^ I recently joined the forums and decided to add an idea I've been thinking about. I appreciate criticism!

:bookflip: by MineWarCrafter Pre-Written Books :bookflip: by MineWarCrafter

Okay, so here's my idea. When you go into a village/stronghold and find a row of books/library, you usually break the block to get 3 books. But what if there was a, say, 15% chance that a book could be opened and read, but it wouldn't be empty.

These pre-written books could have fun little stories in them, books about certain topics in minecraft (mining, crafting, redstone, creepers, fireworks, etc.), or treasure maps that give you coordinates to a dungeon/mineshaft/cave that contains a treasure chest!

What do you think of this idea? Constructive criticism would be nice. Thank you!

I like this idea. But could you specify specifically (try saying that 5 times fast) what exactly these stories are?

    Other than that, support.

Why can't corner rails just be placed down next to two rails, and have it turned into a corner rail?

The "sharp corner rails" badprenup suggested aren't in yet, I'm still thinking about it.

posted a message on Why do so many people dislike minecraft?

I know just as many little 8 year old fanboys as I do actual players who aren't like that, some of both are thanks to the forums.

The problem comes when you meet people who believe herobrine exists and claim that they've seen him and take images off of google images and then say "LOOK! PICTURES!!!"
